The Governor's Daughter.

Paul was desperate. He wanted money. He was fidgeting around when his wife suggested that they watch a movie together. She switched on the television set, and they began to watch the movie about some theater artists who were desperate for money and decided to kidnap a rich kid. The movie was a comedy and they enjoyed it but while watching the movie Paul looked at his wife and told her his idea.

They roped in a few friends with a similar mindset, and all was set. They traveled along the roads of the town and enquired about the new house. The locals did not suspect a thing. They noticed the small children walking alone to the next street after school to attend tuition classes. The next day, they came in a car and tried to kidnap the children. The boy tried to beat them with a stick, but they grabbed the girl and raced off in the car. The boy informed the grandparents and then the police. The whole state was alerted. Social media shares and CCTV footage were broadcast on every station. The criminals knew they would be caught. Meanwhile, a ransom amount was asked, but an intense search by the police forced them to leave the child unhurt in an empty ground. She was later returned to her parents.

The gang is still around, and several other kidnapping attempts have been made....

Paul's wife Natalie sat down in the abandoned building with a tired look on her face. "We need to get out of here very soon." She lamented, looking at Paul and the three other people who were in the first kidnapping job they did.

"I know, darling, and we will find a way and also get away with it. We just need a good plan to kidnap someone whose father is rich and... the rest will be a worthy story to tell in the island we will travel to." Paul replied, holding his wife's hand.

"How about we kidnap the governor's daughter. I have heard news of her club-like attitude. We can track her. That will bring in more than we hoped for." Sharon, a female among the kidnappers, spoke with a smirk on her face.

"That's a brilliant one. Let's navigate through the places we know she'd be in. Always remember not to look straight at cameras, wear a cap, and let's start working towards this." Paul commented, hugging Sharon tightly.

The others agreed, and so the mission started. They all went to different locations prior to the information given by Sharon on places the governor's daughter can be.

Every day, they went out in search of their prey, and they had lots of fun while doing it. Though they were careful about exposing themselves to the police who were on their heels.

Two days later, Ahmed, one of the kidnappers, found a clue to where the governor's daughter would be.

"I did lots of research to get this, guys. we can't miss kidnapping her as it'll be hard getting her again, that is if we survive ourselves."Ahmed reported.

"She'll be at the new opening club, right? Then we need to disguise ourselves. The two ladies are to dress in a skimpy dress to gain access into the club, and they can create a doorway for us to get in." Staring at John, who is their driver, Paul spoke. "You'll need to stay in the car and always ready to move when you see us. Is that understood?"

Nodding his head, John agreed to his duties.

Continuing his speech, Paul looked at Ahmed, "You and I will find our way into the club, and you can get drugs that we can use to spike her drink. I'll create a distraction, and the girls can act like a friend as they get her out to await the bus where John is."

"That's a brilliant plan, Paul." Sharon commented, hugging him.

However, Natalie didn't like the energy between Paul and Sharon and decided to speak to him separately.

"Why are you always hugging her? I am your wife, Paul, don't you think that is very disrespectful?" She challenged him.

"Don't be like that. She is a nobody, and when we get the money, we can kill the others and go with it. She is just a prey in my plan." Paul said hugging his wife, but she pushed him away.

"When did you become like this? Uhn, I didn't sign up for that part you just mentioned. Everyone should go scot-free." Natalie said, working out on her husband.

The next day came more quickly than expected, and the kidnappers were ready for action. The moment might come, and everyone went out differently to execute their plans.

The ladies were given access into the club while John waited in the bus.

Ahmed was able to get in acting like a worker there, but Paul wasn't able to get in on time. He needed to tip one of the bouncers his last money before he could enter.

As the ladies were dancing, Sharon found her way to the governor's daughter's crib and acted like she knew her. Her bodyguard pushed her off. However, the governor's daughter came out and asked her to be released. She followed Sharon to the dance arena, where they both were dancing.

Ahmed with a drink in hand, snuck into the dance arena and offered the two ladies a drink. And before anyone could blink, the governor's daughter fell, and she was rushed out by Sharon and Natalie.

They got to John, who awaited the rest of the team. Paul joined in some minutes later, and so did Ahmed.

As John moved the bus forward, he was surrounded. However, not caring about the people in front of him, he tried moving, but hooks were set out, and they pierced the bus tyre, halting the bus.

The kidnappers decided to run out, but the police caught them all. It turned out that the moment the governor's daughter went to dance, her bodyguards had gone to the Cctv room to keep an eye on her and they had seen all that had taken place and called the police.

The governor's daughter was saved while the kidnappers were apprehended and taken to the police station before they were taken to court.
