1. Meaning Of Swaraj
Shivaji Maharaj had said that courage is not in the weapon but in the heart of a man. Swaraj is established only with courage and will power. Swaraj means self-rule. Erasing the shortcomings within ourselves. What struggle will we fight outside until we do not rule over ourselves? Shivaji Maharaj used to believe in rooting out the enemy. They never give chance to enemy soldiers to unite again. Shivaji Maharaj changes strategy according to the situation and never repeats a mistake. In the same way, we also should not leave any residue of deficiency inside us.

2. Real Heroism
Shivaji Maharaj used to say that there is no bravery only in fighting with the enemy. First think carefully and decide. Then act with determination. The real bravery is in fulfilling the goal, that's why Shivaji Maharaj always played on his strength. Instead of open fields, he used to do Ganimi Kava or Guerilla warfare from the mountains. Shivaji Maharaj understood the importance of the fort. Because counter attack can also be done along with defense from Fort. Shivaji Maharaj always kept his soldiers at a strategic position from where the army could get the advantage of space, height and cover. Shivaji Maharaj used to play all kinds of tactics to defeat the enemy.
3. Use All Tactics for Victory.
That's why he was a great diplomat and military general. Shivaji Maharaj's minister Ramchandra Pant Amatya says, "Maharaj used to fight with some, make peace with some and make friends with others." He used different tactics for each enemy. In the same way, we have to always be alert and defeat our weaknesses in every way, from every angle.
