After a bit of a pause, I’m back to continue my daily writing. Yesterday, I started Yuval Noah Harari’s new book Nexus, and it seems he’s taking a rather critical stance on AI. This is interesting because his earlier works, Sapiens and Homo Deus, were truly eye-opening for me. I’m curious to see how this new book develops. I’ll definitely be sharing more thoughts as I get further into it.
I also came across some exciting news—OpenAI has released a new AI that can even solve logic puzzles. The pace of AI development is astonishing, and it’s getting harder to stay informed while keeping up with day-to-day work. But the idea of dedicating the first couple of hours each day to personal projects really appeals to me. Given the expected shifts in the labor market, I think pursuing some project ideas that could evolve into a real business is a smart move.
As for HIVE, while I think the platform has missed its big chance and seems to be on a slow decline, I’ve learned a lot from being part of it. There’s a lack of engaged readers at the moment, and I wonder if it’s because most people’s attention spans have become too short for longer content. Still, there may be a counter-movement—platforms like Substack seem to suggest that. Everything seems to coexist at once, and how things will develop remains highly uncertain.
