Rescatando a un perrito:
Hola, querido HIVERS. Les quiero compartir una de las experiencias más hermosas que he vivido. Todo comenzó cuando mi familia y yo, fuimos a visitar a mi abuela a su casa. Al paso de unas horas de haber llegado, empezamos a escuchar unos ruidos extraños, como el llanto de un perro. Salimos al patio y nada, pero entonces me fui a más allá de la entrada y ahí estaba, un hermoso perrito, el cual por lo que parece fue desgraciadamente abandonado por sus dueños. Quién sabe qué habrá pasado en las mentes de esas personas como para abandonar a su suerte a un perrito así.
Al verlo lo primero que hice fue acercarme y ver si estaba bien y sí lo estaba, solo muy asustado. Cuando lo empecé a acariciar, él se subió rápido a mis piernas y lo cargué para llevarlo de ahí hasta el patio con nosotros.
Tuvimos que bañarlo, ya que estaba muy sucio y repleto de garrapatas. Yo lo bañé cuidadosamente y quedé impresionado, porque pensé que no le gustaría, pero todo lo contrario, lo disfrutó mucho. Después mis hermanas y yo le quitamos todas las garrapatas, aunque eso sí tardo, debido a que tenía muchas. Después de eso lo secamos y lo sacamos de nuevo al patio con nosotros para ver si quería jugar, y sí que quería.
Era muy divertido ver lo juguetón y cariñoso que era, corría de un lado hacia el otro buscando la pelota que le dimos para jugar. Se iba hacía nosotros y se tiraba al piso para que le acariciáramos la panza, era súper lindo y adorable.
Después de un rato de juegos, lo llevamos hacia un mueble para que descansara un poco y vaya que lo necesitaba. A pesar de que estuviera de por sí cansado cuando lo encontré, siguió jugando y jugando sin parar, pero claro, ya estaba muy cansado. Mientras que estaba dormido mi familia estaba hablando sobre que se haría con él, hablaron sobre darlo en adopción o en dejar que se quedara. Como si él estuviera escuchando todo se despertó y fue hacia nosotros, robándonos el corazón en el acto nuevamente. Como supondrás, la opción ganadora fue la de hacerlo parte de la familia y vaya que fue la mejor opción. Ahora le podremos dar una vida segura y feliz.
Quisiera terminar este post con una reflexión que considero de suma importancia. Debemos saber valorar las vidas de los perritos y de todas las mascotas. Si por alguna razón no puedes hacerte cargo de tu mascota, nunca lo abandones, siempre está la opción de darlo en adopción a alguien que lo vaya a querer mucho, porque ¿qué hubiera pasado si no nos dábamos cuenta de sus llantos? Él apenas es un perrito, no podría haber cuidado de si por mucho más tiempo. Tuvo la suerte de toparse con nuestra casa, pero fácilmente pudo haber parado en un lugar peligroso.
Si corres con la suerte de encontrarte con un animalito en esta misma situación, ayudalo. De veras que la sensación de haber ayudado a un ser vivo necesitado, es increíble.

Hello, dear HIVERS. I want to share with you one of the most beautiful experiences I have ever had. It all started when my family and I went to visit my grandmother at her house. A few hours after we arrived, we started to hear strange noises, like a dog crying. We went out into the courtyard and nothing, but then I went beyond the entrance and there it was, a beautiful little dog, which by the looks of it was unfortunately abandoned by its owners. Who knows what went on in the minds of those people to abandon such a little dog to its fate.
When I saw him the first thing I did was to approach him and see if he was ok and he was ok, just very scared. When I started petting him, he quickly jumped on my legs and I carried him from there to the yard with us.
We had to bathe him, as he was very dirty and full of ticks. I bathed him carefully and was impressed, because I thought he would not like it, but on the contrary, he enjoyed it very much. Then my sisters and I removed all the ticks, although it took a long time, because he had so many of them. After that we dried him and took him back out into the yard with us to see if he wanted to play, and he did.
It was great fun to see how playful and affectionate he was, running from one side to the other looking for the ball we gave him to play with. He would go to us and lay down on the floor so we could pet his belly, he was super cute and cuddly.
After a while of playing, we took him to a piece of furniture to rest for a while and he needed it. Even though he was already tired when I found him, he kept playing and playing non-stop, but of course he was already very tired. While he was asleep my family was talking about what to do with him, they talked about giving him up for adoption or letting him stay. As if he was listening to everything he woke up and came to us, stealing our hearts on the spot again. As you might guess, the winning option was to make him part of the family and boy was it the best option. Now we can give him a safe and happy life.
I would like to end this post with a reflection that I consider of the utmost importance. We must know how to value the lives of dogs and all pets. If for some reason you can't take care of your pet, never abandon him, there is always the option of giving him up for adoption to someone who will love him very much, because what would have happened if we didn't notice his cries? He is just a puppy, he couldn't have taken care of himself for much longer. He was lucky enough to stumble upon our house, but he could easily have stumbled into a dangerous place.
If you are lucky enough to come across an animal in the same situation, help it. The feeling of having helped a living being in need is truly incredible.
