First up we have Lily and Bonnie, two girls both born 2 years and 3 months ago. I'm speculating, but I assume they're sisters, possibly of the New Zealand breed — which, as it turns out, actually originates from the United States, contrary to the name. Interesting.

The folks at the shelter might know more.

These two are bonded — friends for life — which means they come as one, one pair that is

I'm not sure who's who...

Alright, next up we have these two:

Muff

Puff

The spectacularly named Muff and Puff. Muff is female and uses she/her pronouns, and Puff is a male and goes by he/him, to avoid any potential ambiguity. And this time I can actually tell you who's who: Muff is in the upper photo, seen here showing us all how to actually relax with a stretched-out prone rabbit repose.

Puff is shown in the lower photo, which is actually a screenshot taken from his latest TikTok. He currently has 37 followers and loves to 'sheeeeeeeeesh' with friends for dank memes

Like Lily and Bonnie above, I reckon Muff and Puff are siblings, being the same age and all. They are also bonded for life and come as a pair. Which is a wonderful thing. There's few things more pure than the friendship shared by two rabbits. You definitely want that in your home. Trust me.

Okay, moving on to these two:

Benjamin & Peter
Benjamin & Peter

Here we have 7 month old Benjamin and Peter. Peter the rabbit. Incredible.

Likely bros. I imagine them wearing bowties. They're bonded together for a lifetime of good times shared with you and your loved ones

Delilahh

Natalie
Here we have painted Delilahh and fawny Natalie

Two 1-year-old does with musical names. Delilahh with the long ahhh; a sip of cold water on a hot day, and the percussive Natalie keeping time with a quick drum fill. They're an inseparable duo making hearts sing. I mean, just look at 'em...!

There's something about Ivy

Ivy

Is it just me or is this dame all class?

5 years and one month old, she's the elder of the cohort. She's been through a lot, I'd say perhaps not all of it great. Her bio states "She takes time to warm up to you but once she does she will always come up to you"

I think she's just adorable

Muffin

This handsome devil is Muffin. A 6 month-old, curious and playful lop-eared buck

So, all the rabbits I've talked about so far are staying at the Lonsdale RSPCA Shelter, waiting for their forever friends...

(that's you)

The four below are staying elsewhere, in private homes. If you're interested, keep that in mind. Calling the shelter is not necessary. Instead, you'll need to send an email to petaccommodation@rspcasa.org.au to organise an appointment

Sky

Charlotte

This is Sky & Charlotte, both four month old girls, presumably sisters. They are a bonded pair. Sky is in the upper photo and Charlotte is in the lower. Very nice jet black colouring

Mia

Kayla

Finally, for today, we have Mia and Kayla. Two girls, another bonded pair. The black rabbit in the upper photo looking curious is Mia, who is ten months old. While Kayla is in the lower photo looking demure at four months.

So that's it for today. All these bunnies are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and have been treated for parasite protection...

and they're waiting for you!
