Desde pequeña he podido estar cerca de los gatos, pude experimentar ese amor gatuno que siento que me enseñó a querer a estos felinos. Recuerdo que mi abuela me despertaba para que viera a la gata parir a sus gatitos, era una sensación que me conmovía y también me acercaba a estos seres que me enseñaban lo que era el amor de madre.
Mi gata se llamaba motica, ella era algo arisca, se puede decir que solitaria. Se embarazaba o preñaba muy seguido, un día desapareció y no volví a verla, pero siempre la recordaba, ella dejaba que tocara a sus crías, no era brava, nunca me aruñó, en ningún momento sentí temor de acercarme.
Hace un mes escuché en la parte de atrás de la casa algo que cayó al piso, al rato escuché un maullido muy tenue que se fue intensificando, no quise salir ya era tarde. Mi mayor sorpresa fue ver al día siguiente el trajinar de una gata que ya había visto en varias ocasiones con cara muy brava. Esta gata ya no estaba sola, ya era madre.
No quiero tener mascotas de ningún tipo. Cuando somos responsables con las mascotas sabemos de que es una gran responsabilidad tenerlas a nuestro lado, llegan a formar parte de la familia, debemos alimentarlas, cuidarlas, proteger y hasta estar pendiente de llevarla al veterinario.
Estaba limpiando la casa, sacando peroles, de repente vi algo que se movió, no podía moverme al ver que algo salió de una moto que se encuentra en casa, pues, era un gato recién nacido, caminaba lento, pero mi asombró me paralizó, entró a casa, luego no lo volví a ver, mi familia me miraba como que seguro me lo había imaginado. Al pasar los días y buscar por todos lados, pensé que seguro lo conseguiría por el olor que emanaría al estar muerto, pues para mi sorpresa el gato estaba en un caucho de una de las habitaciones.
Mi yerno lo sacó y lo llevó donde veíamos que la gata salia y entraba. Me olvidé de los gatos, pero ellos experimentaron la tranquilidad de mi hogar, volvieron a visitarme, en su mente seguro para quedarse. Ellos están confiados que se quedaran en casa, ya mis nietos vienen para ver a los gatitos, pero de verdad ya la casa huele a orine de gatos y eso no me gusta. En ningún momento se han dejado agarrar, la mamá se deja agarrar por mis nietos y ella los mira con compasión ja,ja,ja.
