A dog is known as man's best friend because of its loyal and friendly nature. Dogs are very obedient if well trained. I have two dogs in my compound. One is named tiger and the other is named Jimmy. Tiger is brownish in complexion and Jimmy is white and brown in complexion. Jimmy looks like he has eye shadow on his eyes but is natural which makes her beautiful. Both dogs are very friendly and playful but something about them that is very funny to me. Tiger likes to play a lot a do damage things, even going as far as eating meat and fish that is not kept for him. Maybe I blame that on training.
Tiger And Jimmy
Jimmy is very calm and moves like a lion looking for prey. She doesn't come to you except you call it names. While the tiger is the opposite. Tiger is very swift, always running up and down even when nothing is chasing. It sometimes even chases lizards that have nothing to with him. Tiger is the playful type that likes to play wherever you play with him. There is never a dull moment with him around the house. But not everyone likes tiger but I do cause I like seeing him happy.
Jimmy And Tiger Feeding Together
There is something about the dogs I noticed about both dogs, despite the small nature of Jimmy it doesn't relent when it comes to attacking. For example when you feed them together. For instance, if the meal is small and you just feel like giving them together before their main daily meal. You found out that the smaller Jimmy tries to overshadow the tiger which is bigger and older in the house. She doesn't even put it into consideration that she was the last to come to the house. Lol. When eating together you usually hear her voice grumbling and exposing her teeth in preparation for the attack while guiding the food meant for both of them. What baffles me is that despite the swift and agile nature of the tiger when come to hash situations it mellows down and starts acting kindly.
Tricky Jimmy
Sometimes because the tiger is seen as a busybody. My aunt like to put him on a leash just to curtail his excessive movements. Sometimes she likes to give him food when on a leash. Then when being given food while on a leash. Jimmy will go eat from the tiger's food first. When they are done eating the tiger's food Jimmy will gently go to its food and start afresh thereby consuming two rations. It amazes me how a dog can be this intelligent and tricky. There are times when Jimmy will commit an offence but the tiger will take the punishment while the tiger is been punished Jimmy will go into exile. Nobody knows where it hides. But I love Jimmy because of his tender nature, on the main vein I love them both.
Is Jimmy Deaf?
On a serious note, I wonder why Jimmy doesn't respond quickly. Sometimes I wonder if she's deaf. Cause I have ones had Trevor Noah a TV presenter narrating how he trained a deaf dog unknowingly to him. That he had two dogs. One was deaf and the other was okay. He further explained that when he calls their names both ran to him but when he calls the deaf ones' names it takes time to respond except the other one responds. Not until it felt sick and it was taken to the veterinarian that asked him how managed to raise a deaf dog, that made him know that the dog was deaf from time. In a corollary to the above, am suspecting this in Jimmy's case. Each time I talk about it they say I should let her be that she's a proud dog...lol.
Conclusively I like them both cause they are good swimmers, enthusiastic, loyal and thoughtful. And guess my presence with their smell. Eventually, when they see me they start waving their tail which I like most about them. Even just living with a dog makes a difference, people who had experienced previous coronary events had an even higher level of risk reduction for death. Research has concluded that the bond between humans and dogs reduces stress, which is a major cause of cardiovascular problems. One the main vein most dogs are good playmates and companions.
