Yesterday we got a message from our neighbors that it was Boo's 5th birthday. If you remember, Boo and Kat are indoor pet goats that our neighbors have. They went out to get items for the party and then messaged us to come over!
We walked over and knocked on the door. Time to celebrate Boo's birthday!!
When we went in, there was a song playing on the TV and a birthday sign! Party time!
We found Boo in the kitchen with her bowl of food. Some of my kids had made a little card for Boo, so my youngest (who is also 5) gave Boo her card. It was so cute!
We know that Boo really likes treats, so we brought her a few things. I had some celery, so we cut it up. I hear her sister, Kat, like celery (and healthy snacks) better than Boo does. We also got her some plantain chips. I wonder if she'll like them because they have lemon on them, so the kids say they are REALLY sour!
We really wanted a photo of Boo in front of her Happy Birthday sign on TV, so her mama moved the bowl over by the TV. Kat had to follow as well! The girls did not want to cooperate very much, but we got some cute diapered goat photos. Ha!
Boo had to have been wondering what everyone was doing in her house and why she was getting some special treats, but she did a good job hanging around with her fans.
Her mama told me that for her first birthday, she had made a goat-friendly cake, but Boo didn't like it, so this time she just decided to have a human-friendly cake! It was a great tasting cake - one of the best we've had in Panama! We also had some ice cream while Boo happily ate her alfalfa pellets!
We all laughed our way through Happy Birthday to Boo! She didn't seem too bothered by the singing by the 10 of us present! Ha! We also had some veggie straws, but she preferred plantain chips to them!
Kat also had some of Boo's treats, but she left plenty for her sister. She'll have her time, too. Her birthday is in December, and I'm sure we'll celebrate it as well!
Boo hung out the rest of the time we were there eating her snacks and enjoying the attention she was getting. Isn't she just the cutest little thing? I'm glad we got invited over to celebrate Boo, the indoor diapered goat's birthday!
@dandays - I didn't want you to miss the birthday party!
