Buenas noches a todos los amantes de las mascotas. Hoy les voy a hablar en conjunto. Recientemente hablamos en una comunidad muy querida sobre el tema de las manadas, y en mi caso particular yo hablé de mi manada familiar; mis hijos, sus parejas, y mis nietos… pero en mis pensamientos quedaron girando mis hijos peludos, esos seres de luz con quienes comparto cada segundo de mi vida y me sacan risas, rabietas, me brindan momentos de ternura, y muchas cosas más. Hoy les hablaré de “Mi manada peluda”, mis 5 mascotas.

We recently spoke in a well-loved community about packs, and in my particular case I spoke about my family pack; my children, their partners, and my grandchildren... but in my thoughts my furry children kept spinning, those beings of light with whom I share every second of my life and they make me laugh, throw tantrums, give me moments of tenderness, and many more things. Today I will talk about "My furry herd", my 5 pets.
Al inicio de mi entrada en Hive comenté que era proteccionista independiente, y de toda mi manada sólo uno es un regalo que me hizo una alumna, los demás han sido casos de rescate en delicadas circunstancias, en las cuales funcioné como hogar temporal como muchas veces lo he hecho, pero en estos 4 casos me encariñé demasiado y ellos se quedaron conmigo.
At the beginning of my entry in Hive I commented that I was an independent protectionist, and of all my pack only one is a gift that a student gave me, the others have been rescue cases in delicate circumstances, in which I functioned as a temporary home as many times I have, but in these 4 cases I got too attached and they stayed with me.
Todos son como dice mi hija en su introducción en Hive, custodia compartida con ella ya que nos compartimos los gastos de atención veterinaria, tratamientos, alimentación, cuidados para su higiene personal, y cualquier otro gasto que se presente en sus vidas. Adoptar una mascota no es simplemente tenerla en nuestras casas y darle agua y comida, para nada, se trata de llevar el control de vacunas, desparasitantes, consultas veterinarias, y medicamentos especiales para que no tengan parásitos externos como pulgas, garrapatas, ácaros, etc.
They are all, as my daughter says in her introduction to Hive, shared custody with her since we share the costs of veterinary care, treatments, food, care for their personal hygiene, and any other expense that arises in their lives. Adopting a pet is not simply having it in our homes and giving it water and food, not at all, it is about keeping track of vaccines, dewormers, veterinary consultations, and special medications so that they do not have external parasites such as fleas, ticks, mites, etc.

Cada uno tiene una característica particular en su forma de ser, actuar y convivir. Para ser más explícita los voy a describir uno a uno de manera breve para que tengan una idea de lo que significa compartir con estas hermosuras día a día:
Each one has a particular characteristic in their way of being, acting and living together. To be more explicit, I will briefly describe them one by one so that you have an idea of what it means to share with these beauties day by day:
1)Piero fue el primer gato en llegar a la casa de 1 mes de nacido por un regalo que me hizo una alumna. Para ese momento yo tenía un Poodle también rescatado que ya estaba viejito y enfermo y a pesar de no conocerse, Copo de Nieve adoptó a Piero y lo crió. Él tiene un sentido de pertenencia territorial muy marcado, siempre fue muy regalado con la gente, se les subía al regazo y empujaba su cabecita contra las personas para que le dieran cariño. Es muy dramático, es celoso, a veces pienso que me responde porque cuando le hablo hace un maullido como si estuviera llorando por algo. Tiene 8 años y con quien se lleva mejor es con Lucky.
1) Piero was the first cat to arrive at the house when he was 1 month old for a gift that a student gave me. At that time I also had a rescued Poodle who was already old and sick and despite not knowing each other, Snowflake adopted Piero and raised him. He has a very marked sense of territorial belonging, he was always very courteous to people, he climbed on their laps and pushed his head against people so that they would give him affection. He's very dramatic, he's jealous, sometimes I think he talks back to me because when he talks to him he makes a meow like he's crying about something. He is 8 years old and the one he gets along with the best is Lucky.

2)Lucky llegó 1 mes después de Piero y tenía aproximadamente 2 meses. Fue rescatado por un alumno y me lo dejaron por una equivocación que en otra historia les contaré, pero por decisión inmediata se quedó conmigo. El asunto es que es idéntico a Piero, la diferencia es el color de sus ojos. Es un gatito muy nervioso, todo le asusta, no se deja agarrar por nadie, sólo por mí y por mi hija, pero su humana favorita soy yo hasta el punto que para donde me muevo, él se mueve y allí se acuesta. Es muy seriecito, no es tan juguetón como los otros. Siempre he pensado que el maltrato que sufrió en la calle lo afectó demasiado. También tiene 8 años.
2) Lucky arrived 1 month after Piero and was about 2 months old. He was rescued by a student and they left him to me due to a mistake that I will tell you about in another story, but by immediate decision he stayed with me. The point is that he is identical to Piero, the difference is the color of his eyes. He is a very nervous kitten, everything scares him, he does not let himself be grabbed by anyone, only by me and my daughter, but his favorite human is me to the point that wherever I move, he moves and there he lies down. He is very serious, he is not as playful as the others. I have always thought that the mistreatment he suffered on the street affected him too much. He is also 8 years old.

3)Lupe es todo un personaje. Siempre he sentido que es un niño atrapado en el cuerpo de un gato. Es de mi hija, ella lo rescató por decirlo de alguna manera ya que lo abandonaron en un escalón del apartamento donde vivía y su maullido la hizo salir y lo agarró. Desde ese día lo adoptó y le dio un amor especial, como si fuera su hijo, pienso que lo estimuló demasiado, y aparte de eso, compartía mucho con la gente, sólo le faltaba hablar. Lupe es muy celoso con ella, ahora que se fue a vivir a otro apartamento donde no permiten animales, él se quedó conmigo y cuando pasa días sin verla se pone rebelde, hace muchas travesuras, y muerde a todos, jajaja. Al rato está dormido como si nada, creo que es su manera de drenar. Eso sí, es el más tierno de todos. Y tiene 4 años.
3) Lupe is quite a character. I have always felt that he is a child trapped in the body of a cat. He belongs to my daughter, she rescued him so to speak since they abandoned him on a step of the apartment where she lived and her meow made her come out and grabbed him. From that day on, she adopted him and gave him a special love, as if she were her son, I think she stimulated him too much, and apart from that, she shared a lot with people, she just needed to talk. Lupe is very jealous of her, now that he went to live in another apartment where animals are not allowed, he stayed with me and when he goes days without seeing her he becomes rebellious, does a lot of pranks, and bites everyone, hahaha. After a while he is asleep as if nothing happened, I think it is the way to drain him. Of course, he is the most tender of all. And he is 4 years old.

4)Lucrecia Margarita: Ella es una perrita que llegó a la urbanización y después de varios intentos por pedir colaboración para esterilizarla terminé haciendo una rifa para lograrlo y el resto corrió por mi cuenta, por lo que después del post-operatorio decidí quedarme con ella ya que nadie quiso colaborar con su operación. Lleva dos años viviendo conmigo, es una viejita gruñona pero también muy dulce, bastante educada, no molesta, no hace travesuras, y toca la puerta para que la saque a hacer sus necesidades… si estoy dormida va hasta mi cuarto y me ladra cerca de la cara, o sea, el brinco que doy es grande. Me alegra haber podido brindarle los mejores años del resto de su vida.
4) Lucrecia Margarita: She is a dog that came to the urbanization and after several attempts to ask for help to sterilize her, I ended up doing a raffle to achieve it and the rest was on my own, so after the post-op I decided to keep her. since nobody wanted to collaborate with his operation. She has been living with me for two years, she is a grumpy old lady but also very sweet, quite polite, she does not bother, she does not play pranks, and she knocks on the door to be taken out to relieve herself... if I am asleep she goes to my room and barks near me the face, that is, the jump I make is great. I'm glad I was able to give her the best years of the rest of her life.

5)Snoopy Jesús: ¿Por qué ese nombre? Bien, el Jesús es por la persona que me avisó dónde estaba para ir a rescatarlo, y Snoopy por mi perrito cómic favorito, aparte de que es blanco y negro como él. Él también es un caso de adopción, su estado al rescatarlo era deprimente, salvarlo fue un verdadero milagro. Es un perrito muy inquieto, antes de la esterilización lo era aún más, muy difícil de controlar, pero gracias a Dios no es bravo, sólo muy travieso. También hay que considerar que es un cachorro, aunque pienso que lo va a ser para toda la vida. A veces se me ha escapado al abrir la reja y sale como un potro desbocado a correr y ladrar por todo el urbanismo, y a los pocos minutos regresa a beber agua y a dormir. Ya los vecinos saben cómo es y les causa risa su locura, pero es adorable, y está enamorado de mi hija porque recuerda que fue ella quien lo rescató de las frías calles. Cuando la ve brinca como un cangurito, jajaja.
5) Snoopy Jesus: Why that name? Well, the Jesus is for the person who told me where he was to go rescue him, and Snoopy for my favorite comic dog, apart from the fact that he is black and white like him. He is also an adoption case, the state of him rescuing him was depressing, saving him was a true miracle. He is a very restless puppy, before the sterilization he was even more so, very difficult to control, but thank God he is not angry, just very mischievous. You also have to consider that he is a puppy, although I think he will be one for life. Sometimes he has escaped me when I open the gate and he comes out like a runaway colt to run and bark all over the urban development, and a few minutes later he returns to drink water and go to sleep. The neighbors already know what he is like and they laugh at his madness, but he is adorable, and he is in love with my daughter because he remembers that it was she who rescued him from the cold streets. When he sees her he jumps like a kangaroo, he lol.

De una cosa si estoy segura, mi manada es feliz, no les faltan las cosas esenciales que son alimentación, cuidados, y amor... y eso me lo demuestran cuando los veo dormir placenteramente. Por cierto, para ellos cualquier lugar es cómodo para dormir.
Of one thing I am sure, my herd is happy, they do not lack the essential things that are food, care, and love... and they show me that when I see them sleeping pleasantly. By the way, for them any place is comfortable to sleep.
A la hora de dormir cualquier lugar es bueno.
