Living with cats is an adventure, as well as they can spend quiet days, there are days or hours in which they make their own, if you have one you will know what I mean, now imagine living with 7 of these furry, until two weeks ago what my adult cats could do was a little overshadowed by the wanderings of the puppies, but now that they are gone, they have been recovering their spaces and making their own.
On the other hand, Kirara, the mother of the kittens, continues adapting to her new home, as well as to the rest of the herd and they also to her, as for her behavior with me, I can say that she is, a love with me, always looking to be near me or lying on clothes that have my scent.
On the other hand, I want to focus this publication, in something that I witnessed or rather I witnessed again, it is something a little unpleasant, but that is part of life with cats, especially if they have access to outdoors, words more words less, one of my cats or at least that I think, case a little bird more specifically a tile.
I went down in the morning to photograph some lilies and when I returned, I saw the poor bird already dead, I went home and to my surprise a few minutes later my Russian cat arrived, the gray mouse, with the bird in her mouth, I thought she would leave it a few minutes later, I did not take it away so as not to curtail her home spirit or despise the gift it brings to the useless human who does not know how to hunt.
Now, I seriously thought that since the bird was already dead, it would get bored quickly, but I was wrong, I don't know how many times I lassoed the corpse through the air, I only know that the more I played with the body, the more feathers flew out and I only thought about how many times I would have to sweep so that there would be no feathers left at home.
But what impressed me the most, was that after a while, when I noticed that it was quiet, I realized that Rusa was eating the bird, I foolishly thought that she would not eat it all because it was of a considerable size and she is not a very big cat, but I forgot that she is a gluttonous kitten and when I realized that only the head, wings and legs of the tile were left.
In the same way, I can't deny that I feel a lot of pain with the victims of my cats, but that's nature, and pretending that they give up their instinct, would be asking them to stop being cats, to give up their essence, and it's precisely because they are the way they are that I love them.
For now, I only hope that the meat of that poor bird has not hurt my Rusa, because she sometimes throws up the things she hunts, as she has shown to be a bit delicate in the stomach.
Finished, Rusa did her thing, again, she has shown repeatedly to be an excellent hunter, in fact she achieved what no other cat had ever achieved, hunting a hummingbird, I say goodbye hoping that your cute pets are very well and if you don't have one you decide to adopt, there are many animals in street condition or in shelters that need a second chance.
