¿Qué será de la vida de Reinaldo Profeta?
Since there is evidence of civilization, prophecies have existed. They had a lot of weight within ancient cultures, since they were times where mysticism, religious beliefs, etc. were deeply rooted within the different societies known up to that time.
In the different mythologies there are stories where prophecies were mentioned. In all of them it was common to speak of someone who would be a savior. They prophesied about kings who would do some feat, whether it was liberating a fief or expanding the empire. To illustrate with an example: Joan of Arc. There was a prophecy, I do not remember the origin of it, but it said that a young woman would lead France to freedom and to get out of the British yoke to which she was subjected. If you have read the life of this woman, you know that it was fulfilled and what was her unfortunate fate.
True? False? Prophecies are real. Or maybe they are things that are made up and by the coincidences of life, they come true. Like some kind of lottery. They throw out various stories about the future to see which one they get right. No wonder many did it. There are too many charlatans in the world. That Reinaldo Prophet that I quote at the beginning of the post, is a supposed seer from Brazil who during the strongest stage of the crisis in Venezuela, was telling prophecies through his twitter account. He could have been right in some of them because he had privileged information from informants within the tyranny, but when he stopped being right, it became clear that it was all a farce.
Desde que hay constancia de civilización, las profecías han existido. Tenían bastante peso dentro de las culturas antiguas, ya que eran épocas donde el misticismo, las creencias religiosas, etc. estaban muy arraigadas dentro de las diferentes sociedades conocidas hasta ese momento.
En las distintas mitologías existen relatos donde se nombraban profecías. En todas ellas era común que se hablara de alguien que sería un salvador. Profetizaban sobre reyes que harían alguna hazaña, ya fuera liberar un feudo o expandir el imperio. Para ilustrarlo con un ejemplo: Juana de Arco. Hubo una profecía, no recuerdo el origen de la misma, pero decía que una joven llevaría a Francia a la libertad y a salir del yugo británico al que estaba sometida. Si has leído la vida de esta mujer, sabes que se cumplió y cuál fue su desgraciado destino.
¿Verdad? ¿Mentira? Las profecías son reales. O quizás son cosas que se inventan y por casualidades de la vida, se cumplen. Como una especie de lotería. Lanzan varias historias sobre el futuro para ver cual de ellas acierta. No me extraña que muchos lo hicieran. Hay demasiado charlatanes en el mundo. Ese Reinaldo Profeta que cito al principio del post, es un supuesto vidente de Brasil que durante la etapa más fuerte de la crisis en Venezuela, estuvo contando profecías a través de su cuenta de twitter. Pudo haber acertado en algunas de ellas porque tenía información privilegiada de informantes dentro de la tiranía, pero cuando dejó de acertar, se notó que todo era una farsa.
That's my problem with prophecies. They can only be half-validated after they happen. Before they happen, they are nothing more than speculation, stories that may or may not happen. It's like prophesying about the price of bitcoin. The best answer would be in the style of youtuber Battaglia: It may go up or it may go down.
When I was a kid I was fascinated reading the prophecies of Nostradamus. Tania several books I devoured about this character and the prophecies he got right: The Death of the Kennedys. Marilyn. The second world war. Etc There were many that I had managed to validate according to the interpretation given to the pages that were read. I still have a book of Nostradamus. I have to look for it. But it stopped fascinating me when I saw that many speculations about the prophecies could not be validated. I have to look for the book to talk about that, but it will be for another occasion.
One characteristic of the prophecies is that most of them are apocalyptic. The vision we all have of the future is bad. No one says that the future will be one of wealth, love, goodness, peace, prosperity. No. Everything that speaks of the future, whether in books or movies, speaks of death, wars, tyranny, destruction, suffering.
It's easy to get it right when things go wrong. Let's say a major economic crisis is looming. Yes, every few years there is an economic crisis bigger than the previous one. Anyone can prophesy that and it will come true. Let's say a natural catastrophe is coming. Yes, every year a catastrophe occurs somewhere in the world. Powerful people die. Yes, every day that happens. Nobody says, that by December 2, 2024 BTC will reach the value of 100 thousand dollars. No. It is easier to say it will go down and it is more likely to happen. The negative is more likely to happen.
Ese es mi problema con las profecías. Sólo se pueden validar a medias después de que sucedan. Antes de que sucedan, no son más que especulaciones, historias que pueden suceder o no. Es como profetizar sobre el precio del bitcoin. La mejor respuesta sería al estilo del youtuber Battaglia: Puede subir o puede bajar.
Cuando era niño me fascinaba leer las profecías de Nostradamus. Tania varios libros que devoré sobre este personaje y las profecias que acertó: La muerte de los Kennedy. Marilyn. La segunda guerra mundial. Etc Había muchos que había conseguido validar según la interpretación que le daban a las cuartillas que se leían. Todavia tengo un libro de Nostradamus. Tengo que buscarlo. Pero dejó de fascinarme cuando vi que muchas especulaciones sobre las profecías no habían podido ser validadas. Tengo que buscar el libro para hablar de eso, pero será para otra ocasión.
Una característica de las profecías es que la mayoría son apocalípticas. La visión que todos tenemos del futuro es mala. Nadie dice que el futuro será de riqueza, amor, bondad, paz, prosperidad. No. Todo lo que habla del futuro, ya sea en libros o películas, habla de muerte, guerras, tiranía, destrucción, sufrimiento.
Es fácil acertar cuando las cosas van mal. Digamos que se avecina una gran crisis económica. Sí, cada pocos años se produce una crisis económica mayor que la anterior. Cualquiera puede profetizar eso y se cumplirá. Que se avecina una catástrofe natural. Sí, cada año ocurre una catástrofe en algún lugar del mundo. Mueren personas poderosas. Sí, todos los días sucede eso. Nadie dice, que para el 2 de diciembre de 2024 el BTC alcanzará el valor de 100 mil dólares. No. Es más fácil decir que bajará y es más probable que suceda. Lo negativo es más probable que suceda.
I have not heard or read any prophecies for this year, so I am going to pretend to be a prophet for a moment and here are my prophecies.
1 A strong political and social crisis will occur in the United States and will affect the rest of the world. The empire begins the road to its end.
2 Leftism will continue to dominate in Latin America. Unfortunately, all that is exposed in the book The Perfect Latin American Idiot is difficult to eradicate in a society accustomed to State intervention in all aspects of its life.

No he oído ni leído ninguna profecía para este año, así que voy a hacerme pasar por profeta por un momento y aquí van mis profecías.
1 Una fuerte crisis política y social ocurrirá en los Estados Unidos y afectará al resto del mundo. El imperio comienza el camino hacia su fin.
2 El izquierdismo seguirá dominando en América Latina. Lamentablemente, todo lo expuesto en el libro El perfecto idiota latinoamericano es difícil de erradicar en una sociedad acostumbrada a la intervención del Estado en todos los aspectos de su vida.
3 Cuidado con Milei. Veo una gran fuerza roja que planea destruir la luz que tiene.
4 Oscar Prometeoz comera más hamburguesas que el año pasado y tambien pasara mayor tiempo en el baño .
5 Valeria Valentina conocerá al esperado príncipe azul en Colmena.
6 Pannavi escribirá muchas críticas de cine en la comunidad Movies.
7 Hive aumentará su valor considerablemente. Meses después de la reducción a la mitad del BTC
8 El wokismo empezará a perder adeptos.
9 La sociedad seguirá siendo más tonta que el año pasado. La pereza mental + el auge de la IA son el principio del principio del fin.
