Hola amigos de la comunidad más escalofriante de todo Hive. Espero que se encuentren todos muy bien y estén libres de posesiones, demonios, maldiciones y demás calamidades.
En el día de hoy vengo a participar de la temática del mes que consiste en responder algunas preguntas relacionadas con los zombies y un supuesto apocalipsis. Es un tema que desde pequeña me fascina, aunque también me daba mucho miedo y tenía pesadillas al respecto.
Bueno, comencemos con las preguntas.

Hello friends of the creepiest community in all of Hive. I hope you are all well and free of possessions, demons, curses and other calamities.
Today I come to participate in the theme of the month which is to answer some questions related to zombies and a supposed apocalypse. It is a topic that has fascinated me since I was a child, although I was also very scared and had nightmares about it.
Well, let's start with the questions.

¿Cómo te imaginas qué son los zombies?

Estoy muy influenciada por la televisión y los videojuegos, así que me imagino a los zombies como cuerpos andantes que se van pudriendo de a poco, con un arrastre lento y motivados por el propósito de devorarte pedazo a pedazo. La verdad que me encantaría que este fuera el caso a la alternativa de que sean personas que viven entre nosotros y que puedan ser peligrosos para la sociedad. Es más fácil lidiar con lo que ya no tiene una apariencia humana.

How do you imagine what zombies are?

I am very influenced by television and video games, so I imagine zombies as walking corpses that are slowly rotting, slowly crawling and motivated by the purpose of devouring you piece by piece. Truth be told, I would love for this to be the case to the alternative of them being people living among us who could be dangerous to society. It is easier to deal with what no longer has a human appearance.

¿Cómo crees que reaccionarías si vieras un zombie?

Seguro me moriría del susto, pero dependiendo del contexto en el que suceda este encuentro intentaría defenderme y huir de la amenaza. Tuve muchas fantasías al respecto y en ellas siento que puedo contra ellos, ya que ante una situación de peligro extremo se activa el instinto de supervivencia, así que me gusta pensar en que saldría victoriosa de un posible encuentro. Si lo viera de lejos me escondería e intentaría llegar a un lugar seguro para tratar de comprender qué es lo que está pasando.

How do you think you would react if you saw a zombie?

I would surely die of fright, but depending on the context in which this encounter happens, I would try to defend myself and run away from the threat. I had many fantasies about it and in them I feel that I can against them, because in a situation of extreme danger the survival instinct is activated, so I like to think that I would be victorious in a possible encounter. If I saw it from afar I would hide and try to get to a safe place to try to understand what is going on.

¿Cómo te imaginas que sería un apocalipsis zombie?

También tuve muchas fantasías con un apocalipsis zombies, pero creo que estaría tranquila porque dudo que se origine por donde vivo, seguro me entero por las noticias y las redes sociales de lo que esta pasando en los otros lugares y tendría tiempo para empezar a acondicionar mi casa, preparar provisiones y terminar de caer en la locura. Claro que sí. En mi cabeza podría sobrevivir en mi casa, pero si todo se complica intentaría salir fuera de la ciudad, a algún pueblo en el que haya menos gente.
Me imagino que se origina por un virus altamente contagioso que se salió de control y no hay cura, se propaga tan rápido que es difícil pararlo y todo se complica, el resto es historia: ciudades arrasadas, intentos de evacuación fallidos, gente enloqueciendo por sobrevivir. Sin cura la manera de exterminarlo es matando a los portadores del virus.

What do you imagine a zombie apocalypse would be like?

I also had many fantasies about a zombie apocalypse, but I think I would be calm because I doubt it would originate where I live, I'm sure I would find out through the news and social networks what is happening in other places and I would have time to start conditioning my house, prepare supplies and finish falling into the madness. Of course I would. In my head I could survive in my house, but if everything gets complicated I would try to go out of the city, to some town where there are less people.
I imagine that it originates from a highly contagious virus that got out of control and there is no cure, it spreads so fast that it is difficult to stop it and everything gets complicated, the rest is history: devastated cities, failed evacuation attempts, people going crazy to survive. Without a cure, the only way to exterminate it is to kill the carriers of the virus.

¿Crees que en este mundo exista la posibilidad de que suceda un apocalipsis zombie?

Ya lo creo que sí, pero no creo que los muertos se levanten de sus tumbas y comiencen a caminar entre nosotros, esos ya están muertos y así quedarán. Lo que pienso es que puede pasar por un virus, de hecho, ya podría estar sucediendo y el gobierno lo mantiene todo en secreto. También podría darse por algo que altere nuestra conducta o absorba nuestra mente, algunas de estas cosas ya estarían pasando, nada más que afecta a la persona en cuestión y no a grandes masas, dejando una cáscara vacía sin emociones ni empatía por el otro.

Do you think that in this world there is a possibility of a zombie apocalypse?

I think so, but I don't think the dead will rise from their graves and start walking among us, they are already dead and will stay that way. What I think is that it could happen because of a virus, in fact, it could already be happening and the government is keeping it all secret. It could also happen because of something that alters our behavior or absorbs our mind, some of these things would already be happening, only that it affects the person in question and not the masses, leaving an empty shell with no emotions or empathy for the other.

¿Qué harías si descubres que un familiar o un amigo cercano es un zombie?

Por desgracia no se puede traer a la vida a un zombie (a menos que hayas visto la película Warm Bodies que todo se soluciona por el poder del ✨amor✨). No habría nada que hacer más que detenerlos para impedir que la enfermedad se siga propagando. Ahora, esto es más fácil decirlo que hacerlo, ya que estamos hablando de seres queridos. Así que sería duro de asimilar y, quizá, en vez de detenerlos intentaría protegerlos. Aunque sería consciente de los riesgos y de que no hay algo que pueda hacer para curarlos.

What would you do if you discovered that a family member or close friend was a zombie?

Unfortunately you can't bring a zombie back to life (unless you've seen the movie Warm Bodies which everything is solved by the power of ✨love✨). There would be nothing to do but stop them to stop the disease from spreading further. Now, this is easier said than done, since we are talking about loved ones. So it would be hard to assimilate and, perhaps, instead of stopping them I would try to protect them. Although I would be aware of the risks and that there is nothing I could do to cure them.
