Si nos ponemos a investigar a fondo, encontraremos un sin fin de teorías conspirativas que ponen en duda hasta nuestra propia existencia, nos hacen dudar de qué es real y qué no lo es, algunas podrían acercarse a una realidad bastante aterradora, pero la verdad detrás de ellas solo unos pocos la saben.
Buhito se animó a participar de esta iniciativa y nos dejara su opinión a continuación, ¿es un búho conspiranoico? Averigüémoslo.

- What is the conspiracy theory that has caused you the most concern and why?
There are too many, but I'll talk about the most recent one I just found out about. While I was doing my post, I searched for information on the internet to be more informed and I read one that questions the existence of the Moon.
There is a theory that suggests that the Moon does not actually exist and they never set foot on it, that it is just a projection, that got me thinking until today and makes me question if there really is outer space, if the stars are real or if there is something else they are hiding from us, after all, the only thing we know about outer space is what we read in books and the photos that none of us captured.
- Do you think conspiracy theories have a real impact on society? Why?
I guess so, imagine if outer space actually didn't exist and all these years we have believed it did. We as human beings act as we are taught, we repeat what we read in books, but have we ever seen what we read or see in books in person? Maybe we are thinking and reasoning as others want us to, and the truth is there, hidden who knows where... or maybe not.
- ¿Cuál es la teoría conspirativa que más te ha causado inquietud y por qué?
Son demasiadas, pero hablare de la más reciente que me acabo de enterar. Mientras estuve realizando mi post, busqué información en internet para estar más orientada y leí una que pone en duda la existencia de la Luna.
Hay una teoría que supone que la Luna en realidad no existe y nunca pusieron un pie en ella, que es solo una proyección, eso me dejo pensando hasta el dia de hoy y me hace cuestionar si realmente existe un espacio exterior, si las estrellas son reales o hay algo más que nos están ocultando, al fin y al cabo, lo único que sabemos del espacio exterior es lo que leímos en los libros y las fotos que ninguno de nosotros capturamos.
- ¿Crees que las teorías de conspiración tienen un impacto real en la sociedad? ¿Por qué?
Supongo que sí, imagínense si en realidad el espacio exterior no existiera y todos estos años hemos creído que sí. Nosotros como seres humanos actuamos como nos enseñan, repetimos lo que leemos en los libros, pero ¿eso que leemos o vemos en los libros alguna vez lo hemos visto en persona? Tal vez estamos pensando y razonando como otros quieren que lo hagamos y la verdad esta allí, oculta no se sabe dónde... o quizá sí.

- What is the most recent case that you consider could be a covert conspiracy?
For me it was Covid-19, I believe that a virus existed, but it was not to the extent that they wanted us to believe. It was something worldwide and there are people who claim to have suffered from this disease, but was it really COVID or were they diagnosed with it to generate more fear?
Many may not agree with me on this point, but from my own experience, how is it possible that all other diseases disappeared when COVID appeared? There were no other diseases, major surgeries were rescheduled, people in life-threatening situations were left behind (like my grandmother who died from neglect because they were not attending cases that were not COVID), there is much to reflect on in this regard.
- To what extent would you be willing to investigate a conspiracy theory knowing that it could have dangerous consequences?
I don't think I would dare to thoroughly investigate a conspiracy, I am aware of the dangers this would involve and if I decide to do so, I must be very clear about what I would be facing and what could happen to me. Wanting to confront something like that is not to be taken lightly, a deep analysis must be done, and I would not be willing to risk myself in that way, nor my loved ones because it would also involve them.
- ¿Cuál es el caso más reciente que consideras que podría ser una conspiración encubierta?
Para mí fue el Covid-19, de que existió un virus lo creo, pero no era a tal magnitud como nos quisieron hacer creer. Fue algo a nivel mundial y hay personas que afirman haber padecido esta enfermedad, pero ¿era realmente COVID o se lo diagnosticaron para generar más miedo?
Muchos quizá no estén de acuerdo conmigo en este punto, pero por mi propia experiencia, ¿cómo es posible que todas las enfermedades hayan desaparecido cuando apareció el COVID? No existía ninguna otra enfermedad, cirugías importantes fueron reprogramadas, personas en peligro de vida fueron abandonadas (como mi abuela que falleció por abandono ya que no atendían casos que no fueran COVID), hay mucho para reflexionar al respecto.
- ¿Hasta qué punto estarías dispuesto a investigar una teoría de conspiración sabiendo que podría tener consecuencias peligrosas?
No creo que me atreva a investigar a fondo una conspiración, soy consciente de los peligros que esto conllevaría y si decido hacerlo, debo tener muy en claro a qué me estaría enfrentando y qué podría llegar a ocurrirme. Querer enfrentarse a algo así no es para decirlo a la ligera, hay que hacer un profundo análisis y yo no estaría dispuesta a arriesgarme de esa forma, ni a mí ni a mis seres queridos porque tambien los involucraría a ellos.

- What do you think about the role of the media in spreading or covering up conspiracy theories?
The media is the main source of dissemination and cover-up, they are responsible for informing us and keeping us updated on what is happening in the world, but it is obvious that they do not say everything. They use meaningless news to cover up something bigger, honestly I do not believe in absolutely anything that the media says, they are the main cover-ups... I hope they don't come looking for me after saying this.

- ¿Qué opinas sobre el papel de los medios de comunicación en la difusión o encubrimiento de teorías de conspiración?
Los medios son la principal fuente de difusión y encubrimiento, son los encargados de informarnos y mantenernos actualizados sobre lo que ocurre en el mundo, pero es obvio que no lo dicen todo. Utilizan noticias sin sentido para cubrir algo más grande, sinceramente yo no creo en absolutamente nada de lo que los medios digan, son los principales encubridores... espero no me vengan a buscar después de decir esto.
