Hoy estoy aquí para participar de esta genial iniciativa sobre supersticiones. El tema me encanta como todos los de la comunidad, pero este en particular más porque adoro a los gatos negros. Eso significa que soy muy desafortunada o que estoy muerta. En cualquiera de los casos vengo aquí a responder las interesantes preguntas que se han planteado.
- ¿Te consideras una persona supersticiosa? ¿Porqué sí o porque no?
No, definitivamente no me creo una persona supersticiosa porque no creo en las supersticiones. Creo que lo que le pase a cada uno no es producto del azar o el mal llamado destino o también suerte, sino que la vida es causa efecto, pero no solo respecto a las acciones sino también a los pensamientos.
La suerte la hace cada uno con sus pensamientos y acciones, ellos revotan y vuelven, por eso se hace tanto hincapié en pensar en positivo. Claro que no se puede controlar al 100% pero se puede aprender a estar atentos.
Los pensamientos son energía y esa energía que lanzamos al universo volverá. Por lo tanto, no puede volverme una energía negativa proveniente de una supuesta superstición si mis pensamientos no van en esa línea.
La superstición supone que un hecho que ocurre, trae una consecuencia nefasta, pero las cosas que supuestamente ocasionan eso, como una escalera, un gato, un espejo, un paraguas, no son ni buenas ni malas, solo son cosas.
- ¿Cuál es la superstición que más te llama la atención?
Todas las supersticiones llaman mi atención, porque es increíble que una persona crea por ejemplo que si abre un paraguas en la casa pasará algo, sólo pasará que se abrirá el paraguas. Como esa todas las supersticiones. El hecho no es ni bueno ni malo por lo que no ocasionará nada.
Pero la que más me llama la atención es la de los gatos negros, ya que vivo con una gata negra, Cata, hace casi 12 años y sólo me ha traído buena suerte.
A contrario de esto diré que los gatos negros simbolizan la protección, en mi caso pasa siempre eso, Cata es muy protectora mía y además el pelaje negro hace que sean más resistentes a enfermedades, por lo que también repercute en el humano que vive con el gato negro. Esto dicho por la veterinaria de mis gatos.
Por lo que, a mi parecer, los gatos negros son de gran buena suerte, la mejor de todas.
- ¿Tienes algún amuleto de buena suerte o de mala suerte?
Supongo que mis gatos, porque son para mi como mi protección y me relajan mucho, pero eso es en cuanto a la salud. Pero si hablamos de amuletos como normalmente se conocen, no, no tengo ninguno porque no creo en las supersticiones.
Mi amuleto en todo caso sería pensar bien, positivo y tratar de enmendar los negativos, porque se pueden enmendar. Lo mismo que con los pensamientos, actuar bien, ya que todo vuelve. Si no quiero que me vuelvan cosas malas, no haré nada malo, nada que perjudique a otros.
Nosotros somos responsables de cada acontecimiento en nuestras vidas. Aunque también interviene el tema de las creencias y programaciones que traemos de nacimiento en nuestras acciones y pensamientos.
- ¿Alguna vez te dio mala suerte por una superstición?
No, jamás me ha pasado eso. Lo malo que me ha ocurrido en la vida, que fue mucho fue a causa de malas decisiones sean mías o de mi familia que repercutieron en mi indirectamente. No creo en la buena o mala suerte sino en el trabajo y acciones de cada uno, no hay azar, hay causa y efecto.
- ¿Por qué crees que las personas son supersticiosas?
Creo que muchas de esas supersticiones provienen de culturas, temas religiosos, de la antigüedad o creencias de familia y que han pasado por generaciones. Hoy hay menos personas supersticiosas que antes, porque la gente comprende que eso no es real, ha abierto la mente y ve la verdad.
Sería fácil echarle la culpa a una superstición antes que decir… hice esto y por esto me ocurre aquello.
Por supuesto estoy encantada de haber respondido a estas preguntas, sobre todo si hay algún supersticioso por allí. Y quiero invitar a @jcrodriguez y a @jesuslnrs, quisiera saber que tan supersticiosos son y si tendrían un gato negro.

- Do you consider yourself a superstitious person? Why yes or why no?
No, I definitely don't consider myself a superstitious person because I don't believe in superstitions. I believe that what happens to everyone is not a product of chance or fate or luck, but that life is cause and effect, not only in terms of actions but also in terms of thoughts.
Luck is made by one's thoughts and actions, they revolve and return, which is why so much emphasis is placed on positive thinking. Of course you can't control it 100% but you can learn to be attentive.
Thoughts are energy and that energy we throw out into the universe will come back. Therefore, I cannot become negative energy from a supposed superstition if my thoughts are not along those lines.
Superstition assumes that an event that happens brings an evil consequence, but the things that supposedly bring that about, like a ladder, a cat, a mirror, an umbrella, are neither good nor bad, they are just things.
- What is the superstition that most catches your attention?
All superstitions catch my attention, because it is incredible that a person believes, for example, that if he opens an umbrella in the house something will happen, it will just happen that the umbrella will open. Like all superstitions. The fact is neither good nor bad, so it will not cause anything.
But the one that strikes me the most is that of black cats, as I have lived with a black cat, Cata, for almost 12 years and she has only brought me good luck.
On the contrary, I will say that black cats symbolise protection, in my case this is always the case, Cata is very protective of me and also the black fur makes them more resistant to diseases, so it also affects the human who lives with the black cat. This was said by my cats' vet.
So, in my opinion, black cats are very good luck, the best of all.
- Do you have any good luck or bad luck charms?
I guess my cats, because they are for me like my protection and they relax me a lot, but that's in terms of health. But if we talk about lucky charms as they are usually known, no, I don't have any because I don't believe in superstitions.
My amulet in any case would be to think good, positive thoughts and try to amend the negative ones, because they can be amended. The same as with thoughts, to act well, because everything comes back. If I don't want bad things to come back to me, I won't do anything bad, nothing that harms others.
We are responsible for every event in our lives. But there is also the issue of the beliefs and programming that we bring from birth into our actions and thoughts.
- Have you ever had bad luck because of a superstition?
No, that has never happened to me. The bad things that have happened to me in my life, which were a lot, were because of bad decisions, either mine or my family's, that indirectly affected me. I don't believe in good or bad luck but in the work and actions of each person, there is no chance, there is cause and effect.
- Why do you think people are superstitious?
I think a lot of these superstitions come from cultures, religious themes, ancient or family beliefs that have been passed down through generations. There are fewer superstitious people today than there used to be, because people understand that it's not real, they have opened their minds and they see the truth.
It would be easy to blame a superstition rather than say... I did this and this is why that happens to me.
