Mental Health Compilation| Narcissisism| Enablement | Divorce| Routine | Parenting

In this series of videos, I take you through some of the topics I covered on TikTok last week. I hope to make this a series, with subsequent weeks focusing on specific mental health topics that I find interesting.

I did an introduction for this week's topic, so you can stay tuned. Follow me on TikTok to get the topics as I create them. I make 1-minute videos daily, which take about an hour to edit, or 2-minute videos every 2 days, which take about 2 hours to edit.

These are the topics I was able to discuss this week:

Narcissistic Personality Disorder

Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD) is a personality disorder characterized by an inflated sense of self-importance, a lack of empathy, and a need for admiration. People with NPD often have a grandiose sense of self, an excessive need for attention and validation, and a lack of understanding of others' needs and feelings. NPD can be debilitating for both the person with the disorder and those around them.

Enablement

Enablement refers to the process of empowering an individual or group to take responsibility for their own actions and make decisions that will positively impact their lives. This can involve providing support, resources, and opportunities to develop skills and knowledge. Enablement can be used in a variety of contexts, including healthcare, education, and social services.

Divorce, Cohabitation, and Sex

The relationship between divorce, cohabitation, and sexual behavior is complex and multifaceted. Divorce can have a negative impact on both partners' sexual well-being, while cohabitation can have both positive and negative effects on sexual satisfaction. Factors such as communication, trust, and commitment can play a role in these dynamics.

Having a Routine and Mental Health

Having a routine can have a positive impact on mental health by providing structure, predictability, and a sense of control. A regular schedule can also help to reduce stress and anxiety, improve sleep, and foster healthy habits. However, it is important to note that a rigid or inflexible routine can have the opposite effect, so it is important to find a balance that works for the individual.

Single Mother Parenting and Psychopathology

Single mother parenting can be associated with an increased risk of mental health issues such as depression and anxiety. Single mothers often face unique challenges such as financial stress, lack of social support, and societal stigmatization.
