Since my last #marketfriday post received such rave global accolades, I am back for a double shot and another tour of a special Christmas market in small town Canadia
I have just discovered #nomnommarket as I revisited friends and posts in #marketfriday community so here is my contribution!
If it quite possible Mr. Claus is thinking "Happy hoho JACKASS!" with the look on his face but I will take it!
Jingle Paws Market!
As mentioned, I love these markets for other people but don't generally attend myself. This season, I have hit a couple just for the wifepoints and to support local businesses as that is the business that I am in.
This one is the first annual Jingle Paws Market dedicated to local pets, owners and businesses in that industry. It is run by my friend Tyler so I had too many reasons to attend.
The first thing you may notice is how many people brought their pets as it was obviously a pet-friendly event. So many pooches to scratch and scrunch!
The venue is a newer event company that will primarily focus on weddings as they catch up in the market. At launch, they are hosting many other types of gatherings and shows to get started, build the revenue, and get as many people through the doors as possible. Immersive exposure for prospect while earning money for the business is a fantastic way to do it for sure.
The rustic décor with the exposed brick and beams seems to match the theme of a warm wintery get-together.
Creators of all kinds are there from apparel to spas, candy to pet services.
Quite well attended which makes me feel good for the community connections and the success of my friend's first big event.
No stockings hung on the mantle here bus a nice warm fire and tastefully done decorations with a bold seasonal message.
A good amount of space on the main floor with a place to relax and grab a beverage or snack while you are browsing.
So many of these vendors are not of the scale to have a storefront or public exposure so shows like this are a boon as far as branding, sales and engagement go. some will do shows perpetually while others are scaling up to rent a store front of their own.
Nothing spices up an event quite so much as live music as your ears are treated as well as your eyes and nose! Plenty of acoustic Christmas songs to accent the occasion.
Nice to see established local businesses here supporting and connecting with others and new, pet-loving prospects.
On the second floor, there is a whole other room full of vendors and exhibits. It is possible you could get most of your Christmas shopping done on one day even if you are not shopping exclusively for pet owners and friends.
Kris Kringle is taking a break between pictures with dozens of pets. He may be a little stoic or perhaps he is a little tired at having his pic taken. "Just great!" was his answer to "How you doin'?"
Maybe I can let the pictures do the talking for the rest of the images!
Santa is back at it helping create photographic memories that will hang on the wall, appear in social media posts, and even live on the blockchain forever.
Crooners still crooning on the main floor!
Even the pets are enjoying meeting each other and I don't recall any growling the whole event.
A feast for the eyes as the selection is rather immense!
Even the bar is open so you can enjoy a beer or cocktails as you peruse.
What an event for the season as pets and their owners had a great time gathering. You can see this fella waving goodbye to a new friend and heading in to meet more.
