I have just discovered #nomnommarket as I revisited friends and posts in #marketfriday community so here is my contribution!
'Tis the season so I thought I would share a tour of a Christmas Maker's Market in our quaint little Canadian town!
Christmas Market!
Truth be told, I am not generally big on these types of markets but it IS the season, my better half loves them, and I support #shoplocal and there are dozens of local entrepreneurs to support at this one. Great for a post too!
They even fancied up the entrance of the community center for this Christmas Market arranged by a local group of creators called the Stratford Makers Market. Neat archway of drapes and sparkly lights welcomes you in.
Big Place!
Just stepping through the doors into the room, we can see they have the walls down and all 3 spaces have been united into 1 large room to get everyone in. This is sometimes used as a convert venue, farmers market and all kinds of events.
So Many Market Goers!
You can see that I am not alone in my support of these artisans and makers. Droves of community members and shoppers have shown up to this yearly event. Perhaps the biggest one to date, especially considering the lockdowns that cancelled this in recent years.
Seasonal Home Decor
So many booths with quaint home decor and seasonal decorations that will augment or even start holiday traditions.
So Much More
Books, jewelry and so many one-of-a-kind items to be scored for presents or even gifts to ourselves. You can see the demographic who celebrate crafts and markets here pretty clearly. Great company to be in!
One-of-a-kind
This creative bear has a nice assortment of cozy slippers and branded fun candles & tumblers.
Shoppers Paradise
The selection really is dizzying as the creators have made sure to bring everything they hope to sell to this seasonally-inspired crew.
Warm & Cozy
Blankets to keep you warm or even give a personal touch to decorating your living rooms.
'Tis the Season
Wonderful rustic decorations to make your home feel like a wintery cottage in the woods.
Oven Mitts!
One of the neatest discoveries here were the custom made oven mitts from MS Creations here in town. Before they became a client of @town-crier / Town Crier Marketing, I hadn't considered oven mitts as a must have.
Seeing how well they are made, and the incredible variety of current patterns and designs they come in, I can't think of a more individual, affordable and unique gift I could literally buy for anyone.
Even the #beerologist on your list!
Bath Bombs
Bath bombs seem to be very popular these days and it is encouraging to see them as inspiration for local entrepreneurs to launch their business.
SANTA!
They really went all out to make this a special market for the season. Even St. Nick made a showing for pictures with anyone who was so motivated.
