Hello shoppers i am excited to show you all pictures from a local market i went to yesterday in my community ...
Here is my favorite picture !
“So my household usually mostly shop for the weeks food supply at the end of the week on Saturdays” ...so this day was just one of the saturdays we went to the local market in my community to buy food products.This local market is the biggest in the area and almost everyone in the community come to buy from the sellers whom are from different tribes....a couple of sellers from varying tribes sell specific products which makes it easier to navigate shopping for your goods at this market so uts more like “you know when to, who to and when to go look for specific producs”
As you can see in the first picture is a fruit stall where you can get all kinds of fruit and vegetable produce ranging from banana, carrits, cucumber, pineapples apples and more as well as spices and ingredients for cooking too.And at this particular shop we bought some fruits like pineapple some carrots,apples some tumeric which we where going to use for cooking we also bought some lettuce too,the prices for the products where cheaper than expected on that very day as the sellers informed us that there where more products in-the markets where they usually bought from.
Second stall!
At this other stall you can find tomatoes onions and peppers ...where i come from this combination of vegetables can be use to make a type of sauce we call stew...the combination of the three is blended with a blender and boiled with any kind of cooking oil along with your ingredients of choice,we went ahed to buy
A plastic bag full of this three vegetables to make stew that was going to last a week when it is refrigerated .
.....we bought a lot more other things but I couldn’t get a good enough lighting for a picture as it was way darker by then...Anyhow that would be all for today, I would be sure to take more photos in my next post
