First of all, I am not a market or shopping person means I don’t like running here and there and looking for better prices on every shop. But life keeps on changing and sometimes, you have to accept the reality and do things which you don’t like, just for some special people in your life. Couple of days ago, I bought a shoe for my wife from PIB market which is the nearest market place for me. Unfortunately, there was size issue and it didn’t fit in. Just for this reason, today I have to go again to replace those shoes. My Mother asked me to take my wife for the shopping as there are some other items to be bought for EID. Aaahhh I really don’t want this to happen but don’t have any other option as I said, life is for loved ones lol
Let me tell you about PIB Market, it is very Narrow Street which is very much crowded in this season of EID shopping. Sometimes, there is no way to walk because of traffic and people all at the same time running from here and there which gives me a total headache. Especially at this time, there are so many stalls and lack of space, I am never comfortable with all that. Still me and my wife went to the market in a Rickshaw.
I was surprised to see the market, not that much crowded wow. It felt good but at the same time, I was thinking that things got so much expensive that people cannot do EID shopping like before. My Mother always do EID shopping too early in order to avoid doing shopping at this time, she did it for all of us before Ramadan. But just because of replacing the shoe, we have to visit the market again. However, I enjoyed my visit to the market this time.
The reason of enjoying is Hive, yes, I took my cell phone and start taking some pictures to share in here.
First, we went to the bangles shop. It was full of ladies so I waited outside and took some pictures of the bangles stall. My wife spent a little time in there to choose bangles for my Mother, sister in law and herself. It wasn’t that much crowded but still people were there with their kids, families walking around, kids really enjoy EID shopping.
For the kids, there are too many items to get themselves prepared for EID. Especially the girls, I saw many of the stalls just selling the jewelries and handbags, purse. Fancy items for girls.
Finally, my wife done with bangles shopping, time to move on to next task, replacing the shoes.
There are food stalls as well, which is really needed after so much of walking. Families enjoying the street food, looks amazing. Well, I skipped it because me and my wife already had dinner at home before coming hehehe
Thank God, the shopkeeper was a really nice person who without any argument showed some other shoes to my wife or else they at this time of season don’t agree to replace or even give time or talk about it.
They have a vast variety of shoes, all types of sandals, slippers or traditional khulapuri etc etc different different kinds of ladies and gents shoes.
Finally, my wife liked one of them and luckily, it was available in the appropriate size. Another task completed.
Next task was to buy Ittar/Attar (perfume). There was only one shop for it and without wasting time, I asked the counter boy to pack one bottle of Jasmine, which is liked by everyone at home.
All task were completed but ladies are ladies so my wife went to buy some ear rings in the end.
Meanwhile, I went to nearby stalls and shops. As you can see our traditional Eid dresses, both for women and Men, boys and girls. I really like the frocks for little ones, they are very attractive and colorful.
In the market, there was something for everyone, prices were reasonable as per the current situation and variety was just fine. I was not expecting this visit to be such a lively one but honestly, taking pictures passed my time and due to this only, I enjoyed my visit. I had something to do while my wife was busy in shopping. We were back at home in an hour after completing all the tasks lol. I tried to capture the market as much as I can through my cell phone Moto E4. Hope you all enjoyed PIB market shopping experience.
