Market friday : Buy fish in the traditional market

On this friday I will share a story about buying fish in traditional market, fish is a need protein for healthy. There are fish in the area where I live,there are fish that come the sea and there are fish that are cultivated by the community.

This time I went to the traditional market to buy fish from the sea, this fish is imported from the Southern area of Sukabumi City in Palabuhanratu and its suriundings with a distance of about 60 kilometers from the place of Residence, is the result of the catch of the fishermen.

There are various kinds of fish for sale such as Kakap fish, kembung,tuna fish,bawal,tengiri fish and there are also sea shrimp. In the traditional market there are several, sellers of fresh fish in different places.

This fish trader in open from 5 am and to noon, the ice cubes are always there to keep the fish fresh and odorless, the base for the fish also uses banana leaves to keep the fish moist.

The price of fish for one kilogram varies depending on the type of fish, such as kakap fish one kilogram at price about 125.000,- rupiah, the price of one kilogram of tuna 100.000,- rupiah indonesia and what I brought was tuna fish at price of on kilogram of 100.000,- thousand rupiah or about 7 US dollars for dollar about 14.200,- thousand rupiah.

And I bought about a quarter kilogram not much just for my own consumtion, after I paid for the fish,I bought, I went home the fish was washed first then given lime juice, after clean the fish was cooked with fish paste with spices such as red chili,ginger,turmeric,onion ,garlic,tamarind,lime leaves, lemongrass and salt.

The cooking method is also simple,step by step,all the spices are roughly mashed, then the spices are smeared on the fish, then the next step is steamed in a laver with banana leaves, once cooked remove and serve.
