A few Saturdays ago, my wife and I went to a coffeeshop at Lorong 4 Toa Payoh to buy lunch for her parents. Bummer, the stall had the longest queue of all.

几个周六前，我和太太去了大巴窑4巷一家咖啡店买午餐给她的父母。真扫兴，摊位是拍最长龙的一摊。

After bringing lunch and some stuff to the in-laws, we decided to go Suntec City. In the early days of closing down non-essential workplaces, the supermarkets in the neighborhood were crowded. So, we decided to try our luck elsewhere. After coming out of the car park, I saw Encik Tan's place was busy packing food. I guess they had many orders but I heard recently they annouced stopping food delivery for some reason.

送上午餐和一些东西给岳父母后，我们决定去新达城。在关闭了非必要的工作场所的初期，很多邻里的超市也很拥挤。所以，我们决定到别处碰碰运气。出了停车场后，看到Encik Tan的地方可忙着打包食物。我猜他们有很多订单，但听说最近他们宣布不知何故停止送外卖。

One side of the Giant Supermarket was closed so we could only enter from the other side.

Giant超市的一便入口关闭了，所以只能从另一边进。

We had to queue behind quite a few people but at least it didn't take very long and it wasn't crowded inside.

还得排在不少人的后面等，但至少不是要等很久而内部也不是很拥挤。

Almost our turn and I could see many fruits on sale.

差不多轮到我们了，我可以看到许多水果在里面促销。

The dragonfruit looks nice. They are the red ones on the inside and I hadn't had them for a while so we bought a few.

这火龙果看起来不错。里面是红色的那种。有段时间没吃了所以我们买了几个。

These leeks are nice but I think they are more popular during Chinese New Year.

这些韭菜都不错，但我才是该农历新年期间较受欢迎。

Checking out some frozen stuff in the freezer and came across this weird product. Crystal Fish Ball (Durian). I wonder how it will taste like.

去八卦一下有啥冷冻的东西在冰箱里时发现这怪异的产品来了。水晶鱼丸（榴莲）。不知道它会是怎么的味道。

Back at home, the lady peeled one of the dragonfruits. I wondered if my shit is going to be bit red. It happened before. OK, more important, it taste great. It was good buy. However, two weeks later, I went again and bought some apples. Of the 6 apples that looks nice, 4 were rotten inside. Damn.
