Standing alone in the sea of corruption

Job life is always a new world for a person. There he learns everything anew. Because academic knowledge and practical knowledge are very different. But as a person learns all this, he has to face many more exceptional circumstances. such as corruption. This thing is always different to a new person. This thing is considered a crime everywhere in our educational life and religious texts. And we have to live in that environment every moment. How can you be honest when all the people you work with are corrupt? Why am I writing these words because last two days I was with one of my school friends who is currently working in a government job. His training was for 2 days in our district so I got to spend a lot of time with him.

He is a Muslim and a pious person. But this working life has created a terrible situation for him. Basically, this is not something to be shared with anyone. However, this issue came up in conversation because I have my own experience of working with people in this position. So, he shared with me his workplace problems: everyone from his office boss to a peon is corrupt. As he is in an engineering post, he has to keep up to date with various sites, including his own. Even if he doesn't sign any paper, he gets pressure from his superiors to sign or act on that paper. Then he is forced to do so. Special parties are arranged in their office with that money, which he can't avoid now, even if he wants to, because he has not reached the stage of transfer according to his wish. They even have a fixed rate for site visits. He cannot complain to the upper level even if he wants to. What will he do in this position? We talked about it for hours.

Government job is something that everyone wants. Whatever level he is. But many people do not know that they have to face such problems. Many again try it for government jobs. Now many would say that my friend can quit his job if he wants to save his moral education. But he cannot do that in this position. Because for this he has strived for many years and as a result he has attained that position today. He respects his job but his colleagues and his environment do not mix with him. And if he alone wants to be honest in this corruption, he is likely to lose his job.

He asked me for my opinion. I could only give him a suggestion that, first of all, learn to accept, and try to write down any special order on paper. We have always tried to take their order on paper to handle such people in our workplace. As funny as it sounds, this was taught to me by a government official. Do not act on any order unless it is in writing. This won't get you a promotion, but it will save you from losing a job. Even if a special step is taken on you, you can survive it. And to do the work of such special order to another person. For example, when such a special order came to our site, no government official came directly. They used to send their assistants. And these assistants are high level corrupt. They can do anything for money.

In fact, you cannot handle such situations on your own. The path of truth is always hard. You cannot make corruption go away, even if you want to. Even if corruption cannot be removed now, one can try to stay away from it. Any work is possible if you are right. Yes, you cannot avoid all of them. If you stand in the middle of the sea and expect that the water of the sea will not touch you, you are wrong to think like this. It is full of these same corrupt people, not only in government jobs but also in private jobs. Especially the managers are more involved in this type of corruption, due to which the employees under them have to suffer the same problem.
