Hola TeamPause, ¿Cómo están todos?, en esta oportunidad, apoyando la iniciativa #Rules4Voting creada por @elpausero, les quiero contar un poco cuales serían mis criterios tanto para crear, como para curar contenido, así como, algunas opiniones personales sobre la situación actual de la plataforma.
What do I value before curing a publication?
¿Qué valoro antes de curar una publicación?
The idea of voting correctly for a publication is not as easy as it seems, since there are many details that drastically change the quality of these. Personally, I think that the most important thing is not only the content, but also, as we put it, in the end that way we will pass on our content to the other curators, by this I mean the format, spelling and grammar of the text. Justifying, centering, using capital letters where appropriate, punctuation marks, the size of the titles, are details very easy to do but that greatly embellish the publication, this denotes the love and work put into this, this added to a quality content, interesting, enjoyable to read and of course, original, deserves the most votes possible.
La de idea de votar correctamente una publicación, no es tan fácil como parece, ya que existen muchos detalles que cambian drásticamente la calidad de estas. En lo personal, pienso que lo más importante no es solo el contenido, si no también, como lo plasmamos, al fin y cabo de ese modo es que le haremos llegar nuestro contenido a los demás curadores, con esto me refiero al formato, ortografía y gramática del texto. Justificar, centrar, usar las mayúsculas donde es debido, signos de puntuación, el tamaño de los títulos, son detalles muy fáciles de hacer pero que embellecen de gran manera la publicación, esto denota el cariño y el trabajo puesto en este, esto sumado a un contenido de calidad, interesante, ameno de leer y por supuesto, original, merece la mayor cantidad de votos posibles.
Currently my HP is too low to create any impact on the platform, so the only thing I can offer the creators is my 100% vote, which, although it adds up to practically nothing, can make them feel a little more supported. Healing is our grain of sand in the development of the whole community of Hive, because unfortunately, there are many creators with excellent content, which are totally ignored by the whales, which makes them think that their content is bad and end up leaving the platform, so a vote, a comment or a refuel, I assure you, if you can make a difference for a creator.
Actualmente mi HP es muy bajo para crear algún impacto en la plataforma, por ello lo único que le puedo ofrecer a los creadores, es mi voto del 100%, que, aunque no suma prácticamente nada, puede hacer que se sientan un poco más apoyados. La curación es nuestro granito de arena en el desarrollo de toda la comunidad de Hive, ya que lastimosamente, hay muchos creadores con excelente contenido, que son totalmente ignorados por las ballenas, lo cual les hace pensar que su contenido es malo y terminan dejando la plataforma, por ello, un voto, un comentario o un repost, les aseguro, que si pueden marcar la diferencia para un creador.
But how does our votes affect the platform? It's a complex thing to explain, but in simple words, we must remember that Hive.Blog is supported by a cryptomoney called HIVE, which, like all cryptomoney, is very volatile, in terms of price, and this depends on the purchase/sale of the same. This means that the easier it is to acquire this currency, it will lose value in the market, ie its price will fall, so the ideal is only vote quality content, and encourage the efforts of creators, increase the quality of content on the platform, and that this, increase its value.
¿Pero en que afecta a la plataforma nuestros votos?, es algo complejo de explicar, pero en palabras sencillas, debemos recordar que Hive.Blog se sostiene gracias a una criptomoneda llamada HIVE, la cual, como toda criptomoneda, es muy volátil, en cuanto a su precio, y este depende de la compra/venta de la misma. Esto se traduce en que mientras más fácil sea de adquirir dicha moneda, perderá valor en el mercado, es decir, su precio va a bajar, por ello, lo ideal es solo votar contenido de calidad, así fomentaremos el esfuerzo de los creadores, aumentar la calidad de contenido de la plataforma, y que esta, aumente su valor.
What criteria do I use when creating my content?
¿Qué criterios utilizo al crear mi contenido?
It's been almost 4 months since I uploaded my presentation, and in all this time I've learned certain things (not all of them good) from the platform that have shaped a little bit the kind of content I upload. Luckily, I got good feedback on my presentation, which motivated me a lot to continue with this. But something curious happened in my second publication, in this one I talked about stuttering and for a few days it didn't get any vote, which disappointed me a little, but days later, because I promoted my post in some Discord channels, I found myself with the surprise of finding many votes, comments and refueling, maybe in matters of money, it didn't reach much, but that amount of positive comments I received, I can assure you that motivated me much more.
Hace casi 4 meses que subí mi presentación, y en todo este tiempo he aprendido ciertas cosas (no todas buenas) de la plataforma que han ido moldeando un poco el tipo de contenido que subo. Por suerte, tuve buenos votos en mi presentación, lo cual me motivó muchísimo a seguir con esto. Pero algo curioso sucedió en mi segunda publicación, en esta hablé sobre la tartamudez y por unos días este no obtuvo voto alguno, lo cual me decepcionó un poco, pero días después, debido a que promocioné mi post en algunos canales de discord, me topé con la sorpresa de encontrarme con muchos votos, comentarios y repost, quizá en cuestiones de dinero, no alcanzó mucho, pero esa cantidad de comentarios positivos que recibí, les puedo asegurar que me motivaron mucho más.
But this made me understand, that doing good content does not guarantee good votes, since, unfortunately, not everyone has the same criteria for healing that I mentioned above, but this does not mean that we should stop taking care of our publications, but rather, understand that this needs constancy, and for this we must find a niche or a theme with which we feel comfortable so that in this way we can be as constant as possible with our publications.
Pero esto me hizo entender, que el hacer buen contenido no asegura buenos votos, ya que, lastimosamente, no todos tienen los mismos criterios de curación que les nombré arriba, pero esto no significa que debemos dejar de esmerarnos en nuestras publicaciones, sino más bien, entender que esto necesita constancia, y para ello debemos encontrar un nicho o una temática con la que nos sintamos cómodas para que de esta manera ser lo más constante posible con nuestras publicaciones.
Whenever I write a post, I do it thinking about how I would like it, that is, I am as critical of myself as I am of any other Hive content creator, so I try to make it as good as possible, so that any curator can like it, so I like very much to see positive comments in my publications, because this means that they read it all and liked it, which is, after all, the reason why any creator publishes its content.
Siempre que escribo post, lo hago pensando en cómo me gustaría a mí, es decir, soy igual de crítico conmigo que con cualquier otro creador de contenido de Hive, por ello me esfuerzo en quede lo mejor posible, así de este modo, puede gustarle a cualquier curador que lo lea, por ello me gusta mucho ver comentarios positivos en mis publicaciones, porque esto significa que la leyeron entera y les gustó, que es al fin y al cabo, la razón por la que cualquier creador publica su contenido.
