In the game, we play the role of a nameless protagonist embarking on a journey with his parent. During the journey he learns creativity and how to build various structures. After some time, due to an unfortunate turn of events, the hero is separated from his parent. It becomes our task to reunite the family. The story does not contain dialogues and is presented in a minimalist way, mainly using character animation.Builder's Journey is a puzzle game with an isometric view, during which we have to overcome obstacles by properly positioning blocks. We cannot control the protagonist directly. He also does not have legs, which limits the possibilities of movement. Instead, he can move between special yellow blocks. When we put a yellow block in front of the protagonist, he automatically jumps onto it. So our task is to build paths, stairs and bridges, helping to lead the protagonist to his destination. Levels in the game are divided into three types: leading the protagonist from point A to point B, erecting a specific building or solving a logic puzzle. After a certain period of time, a skateboard is given at our disposal, allowing us to traverse smooth paths. Levels with a skateboard consist of putting up roads and ramps, on which the hero can travel further. During the gameplay we do not encounter any enemies. However, we must avoid obstacles such as swamps and machinery.
