Afritunes week 79 ~ "Afi'kpong Akara" by Nikeem Cover by @mhizerbee

Greetings everyone in the Afritunes community. Welcome to week 79 and I still remain @mhizerbee. I trust you all had a blissful week and your weekend is going pretty good?

I am here on your screens again this week to present a song titled "Afi'kpong Akara" by Nikeem. It is an Ibibio song but with a little mixture of English here and there. It is not a new song and I am sure you must have heard of it before.

My sister @glowie presented this exact same song some time ago and I enjoyed it so, I have decided to present it to you all this week. I kinda have a deep voice and most times I find it difficult to sing low registers so, please, bear with me. Do have fun and enjoy šŸ˜Š

Afi'Kpong Akara means **Only you reigns/rule. The song talks about Jesus Christ as the very one who reigns and rule the world.

He is the master of the entire universe and in the west, east, south and north there is no one like him.

God rules. God reigns. That is why he said in his word that he is our refuge, a stronghold in times of trouble and our very present help in times of needs, lack and want.

My inspiration behind the song

God's reign and rule means that he owns everything and in totality, everything is subject and accountable to his judgement. It does not matter if we acknowledge him or not. As the ruler that he is, he controls everything and decides what happens to his children.

Therefore, nothing bad or harmful can befall me/you unless he approves it. Nothing can cut me short, I become what he wants me to and he will always stand by me all the way.

There is nothing difficult for him to do. Nobody speaks and it happens except the lord ordained it. He changes time and seasons and does what he wants.

Thank you šŸ˜Š
