Beautiful greetings and good wishes to everyone on Afri-tunes community. I'm excited to bring to you my entry for week 104. My name is mamab. How are you all doing this season? I believe you are pushing strong. I want to appreciate Afri-tunes community for this beautiful platform that has been provided for music lovers to share what they love doing every week.
On this edition of Afri-tunes, I will like to present the song that has been suggested in the community for this week. It is a beautiful and spirit filled song by Nathaniel Bassey, one of my favorite gospel music minister titled "Yahweh sabbaoth".
The meaning of Yahweh sabbaoth is "The Lord of Armies". This name expresses the universal sovereignty of God over every army, both spiritual and earthly. The Lord of Host is the king of All.
I chose the song because of the weight of anointing the song is carrying, it's melody is also soothing to the ears and soul. It is a worship and acknowledgement of the glory of Yahweh. I actually liked the shekere (local tambourine) that was played but I don't have one, so I had to use the modern tambourine instead. Well, which ever way the purpose has been achieved.
