AFRITUNES WEEK 97: QUALITY MIX AND UNIQUE COVER OF KOROBA BY TIWA SAVAGE BY @magicfingerz- DANCE AWAY**
Hello Afritunes and dear African music lovers. I am happy to be back again for the 96th opportunity to share, celebrate and promote African oriented music. It is indeed worth every effort. Thanks to similar initiatives, African music is making a great impact and round in the global music industry.
Recently in my little vacation slash maison experience that I recently had, I was talked by most person, "what genre of music do you like?" and I always responded,.... You guessed it right, Afrobeat. Well, partly, probably because I am of afrodecendant but that's just a very little factor in the whole scale of reasons why so.
Basically because Afrobeat has begun to incorporate soul and blues in her genre. And generally, I am a lover of fusions. Life is to short not to fusion. Hahaha. Well it's important to note that I am not alone In that choice of afrobeat as favorite. Many persons are becoming very interested in this newly emerging aspect of afrobeat.
Long story short, today, I wish to present you with a beautiful and intense song, titled KOROBA. A song by Tiwa Savage. Big girl of the Nigerian music Industry. I had to play the song melody version with my guitar jamming to the instrumental or better put to the backing track of the song which I created using the Moises App.
Truthfully, it was quite difficult to record this cover because the song although it sounded very simple, was a bit difficult to play the melody corresponding to the perfect timing. even after properly scoring the song, I had to play it countlessly to be able to get a hang of it.
