Afritunes Wk 86 || Excess Love - Mercy Chinwo (cover) by jessicaossom

I know that I have to quickly publish my post before the new week begins in the Afritunes community, as it is the end of another amazing week. The song Excess Love by Mercy Chinwo sums up everything I have to say about God's unconditional, excess love for me.

His love is like a river, never-ending and overflowing. I will never take it for granted and will live each day with thanksgiving and joy. His grace is sufficient for me, and I am thankful for His abundant blessings.

Where do I start now? Is it divine protection over me that I am able to leave my house safely and return safely? Or is it the joy of spending time with my family and friends? Whatever it is, I know that I am blessed and I am thankful for each day of life.

Or is it the provisions that are made available to meet my needs despite the difficulties in the nation? Or maybe it's the small acts of kindness and love that I receive from my loved ones. These acts of kindness and love remind me that there are still things to be thankful for, despite the difficult times.

Should we talk about grace and divine strength to keep pushing even when we fall or the motivation to keep going? Yes, grace is the thing that keeps us going and divine strength helps us to stay focused and motivated.

Or is it the divine peace he gives us through storms? Yes, it is all of these things. His grace gives us the courage to keep going, his divine strength gives us the strength to stay focused and motivated, and his divine peace gives us the serenity to navigate through life's storms.

His excess love is unconditional, and that is why whenever I think about certain things, I thank God for not being a man.
