Hello and i say happy new week to everyone @afri-tunes community. I'm glad to welcome us all to this Afri-tunes week 98 which is another time to enjoy music of African origin and I'm honoured to share music with great people here. Afritunes community has been known for bringing African Music to the frontline/limelight and this is highly commendable and i say kudos.
For this afri-tunes week 98, i will be doing the cover of the song "GOD ALL BY YOURSELF" by Eben which is a song of acknowledgement of the supremacy of God. This song points to the fact that God is the self existing one and that we all depend on Him as non of us is self existing. By the understanding of this song, it encourages our hearts to lean and trust in God for this year 2024 that nomatter what may come our way, He will surely come through for us because He is always ready to help those that look and call on Him.
Likewise, this song is also a song of adoration and gratitude to God for who He is. We know that God is good and His mercies endureth forever, also He loves us all His creatures and that's why at one point or the other we've all enjoyed His goodness. Therefore, as we acknowledge Him through thanksgiving and gratitude this year, we see more of Him in our life and on all spheres. The lyrical contents of this song are powerful and the instrumentation also awesome with a great vocal dexterity by the lead vocal and the back-ups.
Eben is a great gospel music minister whose songs is far and wide accepted in Nigeria, Africa and the world at large. Most of his songs are hit and famous across all boards and he has been to several programs and events. I believe in the power of thanksgiving through acknowledgement and trust in God and as we do so, we see this manifest in us this year even as we abound in pleasant surprises and testimonies.
