Music overtime has been explored by man in different forms and dimensions making it of huge importance and making it unimaginable, a world without music. A wise saying goes thus: "As food is the medicine to the body, music is the medicine to the soul". Right from the inception of man, music has found a place as it is possible to recognize and appreciate sweet and pleasing sounds from nature and creations all things been equal. Music impacts on the human mind through the sensory perceptions in form of sights and sounds.
Music has found place in the cultures of the world and has been of immense benefit that a world without it will seems impossible. Music has served different purposes like for entertainment, educative, informative/enlightenment and is also used for therapeutic purposes in the management of some health conditions. The following shows the essentiality of music in our world and the reason why:

Music serves as a platform that encourages creativity and originality which makes the world a beautiful place to live in. Talents, abilities, skills finds expression through music even as this is celebrated and even rewarded. Therefore, a world without music may be devoid of such creativity/originality and less productive.

Music as a platform has helped in a valuable exchange of skills, talents, refined abilities for wealth, riches, fame and others. Through music platform, music artistes, singers, instrumentalists, music tutors, music producers and others have leverage on their skills, talents for something rewarding and appreciative of such. A world without music will deprive such people value exhange which might be discouraging.
• MUSIC IS AN AID THAT FACILITATES PEACE/UNITY, HEALING, LEARNING ETC
Through music, peace and unity is been forstered in nations of the world and that's why different countries has their own anthems same with different bodies and organisation. Music elates the mind (soul) and can also encourages the minds through the music lyrics and this found expression in managing psychological disorders especially the mood disorders. Right from childhood, music has also help to facilitate easy learning and rememberance especially early childhood education.
A world without music will be deprived of such immense contribution of music.
• MUSIC ENGAGES IN PRODUCTIVE ADVENTURES, CAREER AND INCOME GENERATION
Through music, individuals, organisations and nations of the world earn or generate good income, commisions, profits etc as the case applies. Music industry is a robust and vibrant one which drives the nations economy especially in countries where it is well appreciated. Music artistes, teachers, producers, instrumentalists etc derive their earnings from such and hence, reducing unemployment in such nations.
Therefore, music from different sides and shades has alot to offer rather than a world without it. Music brings happiness, peace, healing in addition to it entertaining, informing and facilitating learning. A world without music will be deprived of all these immense benefits of music.
