In our quest to promote African Tunes across Hive and to encourage the use of native Hive dApps, Afri-tunes Community has established her presence on Threads, the microblogging platform on Hive. On threads, we share our favorite African tunes, our original musical presentations, our thoughts on African songs and we also vote for the Afri-tunes Artist of the Week as a Community.

Threads is a microblogging platform, just like Twitter, where users can write “whatever they want” on “any niche” in very short word count (240 characters) or share images on anything.

Threads is a great addition to the Hive blockchain. It has great features like decentralized ownership, censorship resistance, full ownership of account which cannot be suspended or terminated, wallet integration, ability to earn crypto and many unique features which sets it apart from Twitter and other web2 social media platform.

For a long time, we have been logging in on threads via alpha.leofinance.io, where we help the leofinance community to track the progress, give feedback, and make recommendations for better features and updates.

But, on May 1st (4 days from now), we will now be able to view threads using the normal website of leofinance: leofinance.io.

And what does this mean?

It means that the world is ready to welcome Threads!
