afritunes week 104. An Igbo song by adaezeinchrist. (Chineke nke igwe)

Hello afritunes community and all lovers of music all over the world. This is a very special week for me because it is the first week of the third month. And for me the number three is a very awesome number because it represent trinity.

Okay this week I will be doing a very special music that I learnt since I was a child and it has really helped me in so many areas of life.

The song is both praise and petition at the same time. It starts by praising God for all the good things that He has done, and then went on to remind God of his promises to carry the load of suffering and difficulties. This is the very reason why I love this song alot. Praising God while dropping your petition as well. I believe that alot of us have one or two things that we want to receive from God, but while we are at that we should remember to give God praise for the things he has done already.

Enjoy the lyrics.

Igbo version.

Chineke nke igwe,
I napitawo m,
Mgbe mmo mu no nansogbo,

Chineke nke igwe,

English version.
God in heaven,
You have delivered me,
When my soul is in trouble.

God in heaven,
You have delivered me,
When my soul is in trouble

Greetings from my heart is what I bring,
Good praise is what I bring,
Songs of the saints is what I will sing,
To show that you are big.

Forgive my sin's God,
So that I can receive my share in you.

Is you,
You promise to carry my load
You promise to be mine.

Now see!
I'm in your presence,
To receive my share in you.

I wrote the lyrics myself.
thanks for coming around.
