Recently I was given some Hemp Products from the U.K. Is it weed? Is it weed?! Sadly it's not and I want to share my thoughts and some enlightenment about it.

Although, I know in some parts of the world Marijuana or in its most appropriate term, 'Cannabis', this is already legal. Unfortunately in my country (Philippines, sucks.) It is still considered as an illegal substance.

What is Weed Anyway?

• If you haven't tried it, then you're not the best judge for it, because No matter what you say, it would Take One to Know One. Bet?

• If your Parents say it's a "Drug" and it's "Bad", First of all, they're not bad for saying that, that's good parenting, second, what "drug" were they talking about? Is it a Substance? true enough, same as sugar like that regular candy that you love, or that boba milk tea that you'll die for? but I guarantee that they have 0 idea about it, if they haven't tried it.

• If you just seen it from the News, let me guess, the Newscaster is discussing about a Drug bust, they show you bags of illegal substance, Cops and cuffed dude. Let me tell you this, even I, if saw that in one picture? thats fucking scary! I'd give you that. But if they're busting for Cannabis, I'm also gonna tell you, that it is fucking hilarious and I'm shaking my head typing this just now.

Here's What I know

• BTW The Hemp Shampoo and Hemp body oil that was given to me, smells great, my hair feels awesome and I can tell it's way better than the one I was using before.
• Cannabis is a Plant. It is also the right terminology where in the streets is mostly known as 'Weed' or the far racist slur 'Marihuana' from 1900-1930 in the US during the time of the era of Mexicans migrating in the country also know as the Mexican-menace.
• There are actually 4 types of it? Sativa, Indica, Ruderalis and Hybrid.
• Two main chemical components of Cannabis are THC Tetrahydrocannabinol: This is what give the feeling of "High" or euphoric, Psychoactive Components, don't worry this is actually helps you get better sleep, increase appetite, relaxed, etc., though some people may feel the bad side of it and feel paranoid, anxiety, distrust, Panic. and there is also CBD Cannabidiol: This is the one that is actually has the medical use, in worlds that has widely legalize the use of cannabis, is being used to help with seizures, epilepsy, menstrual cramps, etc. this is being extracted from Hemp a type of sativa plant that has also other industrial use.
• Hemp, The Sativa Plant that has many uses:
  Industrial uses: Ropes, Plastic, Paper, Biofuel, Consumer goods, beauty Products, Automobile Manufacturing, Pet Products, Textile, and clothing.
  Food products:

Hemp seed products:
hemp protein powders
energy bars
veggie burgers
granola
dips and sauces
hemp milk
hemp flour
hemp tea, coffee, bear and other hemp infused drink

Hemp seed products:
sleep disorders
chronic pain
Alzheimer’s disease
various inflammatory and autoimmune diseases

• Hemp Bioremediation: Scientists have found hemp to have microorganisms for bioremediation, basically these are organisms that cleans up oil when fed to it.

• Medical marijuana and hemp products have been dated way back as far as 8,000 BCE. like for reals for reals. 😏

• World Health Organization (WHO) recommended formally reclassifying Cannabis under International Treaty, back in 2019.

• There far deaths occur with Cigarette smoking and Under the influence of Alcohol and prolonged usage, but these are legal?

• Personal Experience: I used to have anger issues, but the time I tried it, it made me more Human. I became more humble, kinder, loving, understanding, more than religious, spiritual, in contrast to the common belief.

• I really don't believe in this fictional book, but uhm.. a lot of people do, and by the statement above, so still I ask, is it really that bad?

• Bob Marley, Is a Legendary Peace Icon, due to his roots and his religion Cannabis consumption was part of the practice. Contrary to the demonizing belief it is bad, he sang songs that are about Peace, Love and Unity. A politician even tried to have him killed in his own home, but he did nothing and continued his concert.

It's just a Plant

Did you know that there are three types of Cannabis Plant?

Indica	Sativa	Rudiralis
can grow up-to 25 feet tall	grows up-to six feet shorter than Cannabis sativa	short, light green leaves
most often used to experience a more uplifting, energizing high	most often used to experience a more relaxing, sedative effect	a less popular and not as widely used strain used mostly by breeders to enhance their hybrids
Mostly grown in colder temperate	Cannabis sativa L is hemp cannabis and is normally grown for industrial use	Mostly grows in asia
grows faster than sativa and is bushier	long, light green leaves	Lesser THC content and mostly have been used industrially.

So What's Poison?

So In this world the only true thing that I can prove is that we all have our poison, from whatever it is we love to consume. So What's your Poison?

Alcohol? that kills 3 million a year since 2016 as per WHO?
Sweets? Which Philippines' 4th leading cause of death is Diabetes?
Junkfood? Which you do not know what substance they put up in it and probably may cause most Neoplasm diseases?
Beauty Products? That has a lot of chemicals you prolly didn't know about, mostly unregulated and some harmful to the environment?
Impulsive Clothing consumption? That does the US alone throw away up to 11.3 million tons of textile waste each year that affects the environment?
Fatty Food? Again going back to health hazard

Now, You might be wondering why I'm giving these informations?

1. I want to be one of the first Filipinos to remove the bad image, the stigma incorporated to this plant and educate.
2. I'm a firm believer of the medical and industrial uses and benefits of Hemp, Cannabis, CBD.
3. With the growing prices of everything in this world, with all the inflation and market crashing, this is one way, that can solve a country's money problem as they call in the stock market The Green Rush
4. In the Philippines, If not serving a life imprisonment, you will be shot where you stand, for a Plant? It's fuccckin ridiculous! This should be revised. Fo Reals.
5. I fully support the legalization of the Medical Marijuana Bill being pushed by one Philippine Senator, it would help a LOT. I don't mind if they're only gonna legalize on the medical side of it.
6. It takes one to know one and it is truly just a Plant.
