The Pineapple Express is a week or two away from harvest, the recently pollinated Durban Violette is seven weeks from harvest. The Fog OG autoflowering cannabis plant has been harvested after ten weeks.
Pineapple Express
The Pineapple Express has had seven weeks of bloom time, technically three weeks remaining until harvest, but it might have started budding early, it looks like one more week until finish.
This plant was trained during the eight weeks of vegetative growth, with the top of the stem pulled down to the ground. It gave the branches a chance to grow up to a similar height of the main stalk, giving them more access to the LED grow light.
Bright orange pistils on these maturing buds, they have a sweet lemon pineapple scent to them. Shimmering from the trichome THC resin build up.
Three more weeks until harvest, this Pineapple Express plant might finish up early, it may have quickly moved into bud mode, but I'll give it all the time it needs to maximize the bud growth.
Durban Violette
This Durban Violette has had three weeks or so of bloom time, seven weeks remain until harvest.
The buds are looking chunky, benefiting from the mature plant and root structure, this plant had more than ten weeks of vegetative growth
A few days ago the bud top on a lower branch was cross pollinated with Apricot Kush pollen, the pollinated pistils have already started to change color and shrivel.
Seven more weeks until bud and seed harvest, the non pollinated pistils haven't started to shrivel yet - these Durban Violette buds are still in the plumping phase.
Fog OG auto harvested
The Fog OG autoflowering strain has had the full ten weeks of vegetative and bloom growth that an auto requires.
They've been receiving 24 hours a day of LED grow light the whole ten weeks, they automatically went into flowering mode around week three.
These Fog OG autoflowering buds have a strong sweet blackberry, grape, and pine scent to them.
Many of the pistils had turned orange, the buds had that resinous crispy look, and even the little bud leaves were getting their fall colors - right on time the plant was ready, five days ago I harvested the Fog OG auto.
I'm looking forward to another week or so from now, to sample these buds, after they've been dried, trimmed, weighed, and cured.
