More Rising Star Milestones

I have been playing the Hive game Rising Star almost since it started. I have seen it evolve in various ways, gaining more ways to play and lots of cool NFTs.

Today I passed 500,000 fans from cards.

Lots of fans

This week I also reached over 500 unique cards. That is a combination of cards from packs, from various side challenges and the song NFTs created by members of the community. I buy packs, but also buy certain cards I want.

Lots of cards

I like getting different cards, so I will seek them out. I have been running a lot of 'crafting' missions to try and at least get a full set of production cards. Some gold parts are very rare, so it will take a while yet. I have bought some expensive cards, but others are just too much, so I will see if I can get lucky, but with so many players now it will not be possible for everyone to get every card.

The trade in cards is very active. I can see some people are buying lots (via the log in Discord). Part of the fun is working out which are the best value to make better progress. NFTMart is a useful place to do bulks transactions and you can see my collection there. I have done lots of trading of cards to get what I want as well as helping out others. That site used to get really slow for large collections, but performance is great now.

I would recommend playing if you enjoy music and casual games. It is free to start. I would warn that the game is still considered beta with a small development team and sometimes it is not available if something goes wrong when they are asleep. I would just not take it too seriously. Games are supposed to be fun.

I really must thank @atomcollector for creating @risingstargame. Maybe I shall actually get to meet him some time. I am hoping a UK meetup will be possible this year and some of us are clustered around the south of England. I did meet some of them in the virtual Hivefest last year.

Rock on!
