Llevo en la Blockchain solo unos días, pero ya estoy seguro de que Hive es un lugar diferente.
Pero antes de esto, como nuevo que soy, debo presentarme.
Me llamo Loreto y los saludo desde la capital de Cuba, La Habana. Hace menos de un año me gradué como Ingeniero Mecánico en la famosa CUJAE.
Me apasiona la lectura, especialmente los temas relacionados con la ingeniería, la superación personal y la educación financiera, entre otros ya que siempre estoy en busca de nuevos conocimientos que me permitan crecer tanto en lo personal como en lo profesional.
Mi amor incontrolable es el fútbol, y si es futsal, mucho más. Me encanta verlo, jugarlo y entrenarlo;si fuera por mí, pasaría todo el día en la cancha. Este deporte es una parte fundamental de mi vida, ya que me permite liberar energía, mejorar mis habilidades y compartir momentos con amigos que comparten la misma pasión. Además, tengo un gran aprecio por la buena comida. Si algo me gusta, no puedo dejar de comerlo. Mi lugar favorito es la playa, aunque, curiosamente, aún no he aprendido a nadar.
Conozco sobre la Blockchain gracias a mi hermano @dahpilot hace un tiempo atras. Durante nuestros viajes en @estuloviajerocu conocí un poco más sobre el ecosistema y fue despertando un bichito dentro de mi. Como el tiempo no nos alcanzaba y no nos veíamos más seguido no me lanzaba a este nuevo reto.
Supongo que siempre me faltó ese empujón final, hasta hace unos días.
Mi hermano, me invitó a formar parte, del último HiveCubaCon y decidí que era el momento de dar el salto.
Dicen que de los cobardes no se ha escrito nada, así que aquí estoy.
En estos últimos días se han hecho muchas publicaciones sobre el evento, pero muy resumido, es el evento #web3 más importante en la isla (y que yo conocía por primera vez).
Mis expectativas para este evento eran grandísima, el equipo de HiveCuba se encargó de crearlas y además era la primera conferencia sobre Blockchain, a la que asistiría.
Aquí me tienen junto a mi hermano en las puertas del evento.
En el evento tuve la oportunidad de participar activamente en las conferencias. Aquí me tienen creandome mi cuenta junto a Manu y luego ayudando a crear otras cuentas con la guía de Manu.

Tuve el privilegio de entrevistarme e intercambiar ideas con el equipo de HiveCuba, quienes me ofrecieron excelentes consejos y sugerencias que sin duda serán de gran ayuda en mi camino dentro de esta comunidad.
Después de las conferencias y la resolución de dudas, participe de un alegre e interesante networking entre los nuevos y antiguos miembros de la comunidad que hizo que mis ganas de crear contenido solo crecieran. Fue un día sumamente agradable e instructivo, rodeado de un ambiente en el que se respiraba alegría, entusiasmo y cooperación.

En cuanto al equipo de HiveCuba, quedó claro el esfuerzo, preparación y dedicación que le ponen al proyecto lo que permitió que la actividad se desarrolla con una fluidez natural y espontánea.
Quiero llevar a la comunidad temas relacionados con ingeniería mecánica y de vez en cuando hablar sobre animes brindarles mis experiencias y opiniones de estos, como soy nuevo quisiera que me recomendaran en los comentarios que comunidades encajan con estos contenidos.
Para culminar, quiero agradecer a @dahpilot por presentarme esta increíble Blockchain y sobretodo invitarme al HiveCubaCon, mi inicio, en este ecosistema. Y que debo decir que lo disfrute como un niño chiquito. También deseo agradecer a @meettoo por brindarme este espacio para presentarme en su comunidad.

I've only been in the Blockchain space for a few days, but I'm already sure that Hive is a different place.
But before diving in, as a newcomer, I should introduce myself.
My name is Loreto, and I greet you from the capital of Cuba, Havana. Less than a year ago, I graduated as a Mechanical Engineer from the famous CUJAE.
I'm passionate about reading, especially topics related to engineering, personal development, and financial education, among others, as I'm always seeking new knowledge that allows me to grow both personally and professionally.
My uncontrollable love is football, and if it's futsal, even better. I love watching it, playing it, and training for it; if it were up to me, I would spend all day on the field. This sport is a fundamental part of my life, as it helps me release energy, improve my skills, and share moments with friends who share the same passion. Besides, I have a great appreciation for good food. If I like something, I can't stop eating it. My favorite place is the beach, although, curiously, I haven't learned to swim yet.
I learned about Blockchain thanks to my brother @dahpilot some time ago. During our travels with @estuloviajerocu, I got to know more about the ecosystem, and it sparked an interest in me. Since we didn't have much time and couldn't see each other more often, I didn't take the plunge into this new challenge.
I guess I always lacked that final push until a few days ago. My brother invited me to be part of the last HiveCubaCon, and I decided it was time to take the leap.
They say nothing is written about cowards, so here I am.
In recent days, many posts have been made about the event, but to summarize, it was the most important #web3 event on the island (and the first I had ever attended).
My expectations for this event were high—my brother made sure of that—and it was also the first Blockchain conference I would attend. Here I am with my brother at the event's entrance.
At the event, I had the opportunity to actively participate in the conferences. Here you can see me creating my account with Manu and later helping to create other accounts with Manu's guidance.

I had the privilege of interviewing and exchanging ideas with the HiveCuba team, who offered me excellent advice and suggestions that will undoubtedly be of great help in my journey within this community.
After the conferences and Q&A sessions, I participated in a lively and interesting networking session between new and old community members, which only fueled my desire to create content. It was an incredibly pleasant and instructive day, surrounded by an atmosphere filled with joy, enthusiasm, and cooperation. Here are some photos taken with my phone during the conferences.
As for the HiveCuba team, it was clear the effort, preparation, and dedication they put into the project, which allowed the event to unfold with a natural and spontaneous flow.
I want to bring topics related to mechanical engineering to the community and occasionally talk about anime, sharing my experiences and opinions on these subjects. As I'm new, I would appreciate it if you could recommend in the comments which communities would be a good fit for this content.
To conclude, I want to thank @dahpilot for introducing me to this incredible Blockchain and especially for inviting me to HiveCubaCon, my entry point into this ecosystem. I have to say, I enjoyed it like a kid. I also want to thank @meettoo for providing me with this space to introduce myself to the community.
