Pumpkin Plant Monochrome Photography!

Namaste.

Let me tell you in advance that I don't know anything about monochrome photography. In fact, I have very little knowledge of photography because this affair has just started. <3

This is probably my third attempt at monochrome photography. This time I tried to read a little about it and since I do photography from a basic phone without any additional lenses I had limited settings to play with.

First I tried to click photos through monochrome mode. But in those photos, the light was dominating the dark. Whereas, I wanted somewhat the opposite (only for this photography). I mainly had to focus on the patterns of the leaves and also the hairs on the new stems which was not possible by taking pictures directly from my phone, so finally I thought of editing some pictures taken a few days ago.

Although this was no less difficult for me to do but at least I had some freedom to change the settings to my needs. And then after playing with the settings of my phone for some time, I turned these pictures of the growth of one of my pumpkin plants to monochrome.

Here you may also be able to see tiny hairs on the new stems.

I have tried my best to highlight the leaf pattern through contrast and a perfect balance of light.

And these are the first 2 buds of my pumpkin plant. :D

I hope you liked my Phone Photography! :)
