Hoy queridos amigos comienzo con esa premisa queriendo contarles sobre un día especial y es en el nos volvemos un año más viejos y más sabios. Hace unos días, me volví un poco más sabía y creo que vieja no, porque aún me preguntan si realmente es cierta la edad que les digo. Estoy agradecida por haber llegado a mis 28 años llena de tantas personas increíbles y actos que sin dudas hay que agradecer. Cada día de cumpleaños es una fecha tan especial para mí, porque siento que es un instante que es sólo tuyo y que las personas más cercanas a tí se toman un instante para dedicarte palabras y actos que por lo general en el resto del año no lo hacen. Y no es que no lo sientan en todo el año, sino que por la fecha especial sacan lo mejor de ellos para dedicarlo al que celebra un año más de vida y hacer de ese día realmente un momento único.

Siempre fui de las más intensas y apasionadas por su cumpleaños y trataba siempre de recordar a todos que mi cumpleaños se acercaba haciendo una cuenta regresiva desde que iniciaba enero hasta el 5 de marzo. De verdad que era bastante fastidiosa pero lo disfrutaba muchísimo y fue tanto así que fue algo como instaurar una fecha patria personal, "el día de mi nacimiento". Recuerdo a mis compañeros de clases también emocionados por la cuenta regresiva, que cuando yo lo que olvidaba estaban diciendo "Eliana faltan 10 días" Y me preguntaban ¿qué harás ese día especial? Tengo varias anécdotas de esos días, pero en especial una de los últimos años del colegio en los que todos faltaron a clases por pasar conmigo mi cumpleaños en casa de una de mis compañeras en la que las risas y la música no faltaron, esa sensación de sentirse tan afortunada me encanta y agradezco a cada uno de ellos por esos días inolvidables. Les comento que mi papá jamás supo de esto y espero que no lea este post jajaja, por el contrario mi mamá ya sabía que en mi cumpleaños ando en modo diversión.

Cuando estudia en el colegio y la universidad odiaba ir a clases y no sé si por la anécdota anterior se den cuenta pero... trataba de siempre de saltarme la clase, aunque soy de las más juiciosas a la hora de estudiar pero ese día es diferente. ¡Hay que hacer otra cosa! fuera de los común, trato de optar por actividades divertidas como ir al parque aunque caiga día de semana o ir algún restaurante.

La pandemia afectó esas actividades divertidas, recuerdo que acá en Venezuela cuando decretaron distanciamiento social fue justo una semana después de mi cumpleaños y puede disfrutar con mis amigas un día de karaoke en un reconocido hotel de la ciudad y desconociendo lo que vendría luego, me sentí tan agradecida por habernos mantenido asalvo de la pandemia en ese entonces y que pude pasarla tan bien con ellas en ese momento que no sabia que quedaría como un tesoro de los últimos días "normales". Durante la pandemia no es que fueron los peores cumpleaños pero... Si me sentí bastante limitada de hacer cosas divertidas, tanto porque los lugares estaban cerrados y como por cuidarme de enfermarme y enfermar a otros. Pienso que de los momentos que no nos agradan tanto salen muchos aprendizajes y sobre todo que nos enseña a valorar cada mínima acción y gesto bonito. Esto aplica no solo para los días de cumpleaños sino para cada instante de la vida.

Creo que desde ese instante mi modo "agradecer" comenzó a estar mucho más activo y trajo a mi mente momentos tan increíbles que viví con personas que ya no están en mi vida y otras que aún conservo. Considero que son los años y cada vivencia la que nos hacen crecer y nos hacen reflexivos y con ello llega la sabiduría y pienso que de allí sale el dicho popular "más sabe el diablo por viejo que por diablo", la vida que he decidido vivir ha estado llena de grandes aventuras que me dejan con ganas de seguir construyendo y sumando año tras año nuevas vivencias con las que se seguirá llenando mi libro de la vida. En el último año me quedo con ese gran valor que tiene el agradecer que deja el corazón y el alma tan llenitos e inmediatamente te sientes en plenitud.
