Dulhaniya, dulhaniya... That's what you'll hear when you attend an Indian wedding.
But what is dulhaniya? Dulhaniya is nothing else than Bride. So what's Akash ke Dulhaniya?
That means Akash's bride...
Akash is the groom and for today i've planned pictures part two of his bride Shaiyana.
After the haldi ceremony as i had explained in my previous post of Shaiyana, there was another ritual. The haldi ceremony is to apply Haldi to the whole body.
Here you can see Shaiayana holding Mehendi in her hands. With Muslims it is so that the original mehendi is applied to the hands and feets. I don't know the scientific reason behind that part. All i know it's done by Muslims in Suriname.
Here you can see the processed mehendi is applied to her back and then there's written:
AKASH KE DULHANIYA...
Appliciation of Mehendi (original) to the feets.
Appliciation of Mehendi (original) to the hands.
Thanks for stopping by. Have a great weekend and see you soon!
