Vermont in the fall

Flying the colors

This is my post for #SublimeSunday inspired by @c0ff33a and #BeautifulSunday initiated by @ace108. Fall colors are still hanging on in Vermont but the color is fading. More browns and bare trees. Less bright red maples.

Hay Barn

A classic Vermont barn. Barn photos work in all seasons 😁

Lake Dunmore

As my followers know by now, my favorite photo subject is Lake Dunmore, Addison County, Vermont. The lighting wasn't great for the fall colors but the cloudy sky on the lake made up for it.

Lake camps in Fall

The fall colors are better in this shot of some lake camps. Most of the docks are out along with the boats and swimming platforms.

Late fall colors

My last photo shows the colors reflecting on the lake. You can see that there are more browns now and yellows but the brighter colors from earlier in the fall are starting to go away. The Adirondack chairs are still out. Still a nice view and the weather is great this weekend - mid 60Fs.

Thanks for checking out my post 👍 Hope you are having an awesome weekend 🙂
