Buckskin gulch is one of the longest slot canyons in North America and its one of the most stunning. Buckskin Gulch is 21 miles long and is typically done in an overnight trip it can be done in one day but you would need two cars because the trail does not loop so you will need to leave a car at the start or get dropped off. Same with the end you either need to leave another car or get picked up. It is a must that you check the forecast before entering any slot canyon getting caught in a flash flood is deadly you have no were to escape. If there is any chance of rain then entering a slot canyon is not recommended. The power of the water that could come rushing through these canyons would be unmatched.
Buckskin Gulch is truly one of the most spectacular slot canyons and a photographer's dream. The light in this slot canyon is truly spectacular. I couldn't put my camera down the whole time. The canyon walls towering above my head while the canyon walls narrowed around me was truly a sight to behold.
