The fogs are wonderful. I've probably said this more than once, but I'll repeat it again. When the rising sun illuminates the fog, something magical often comes out of it, whether you're looking from the ground or from above. Although from above, of course, the view is wider :)
In some places a thick, almost opaque, and in some places a gentle transparent haze change the landscape. I like to photograph foggy landscapes when the sun is already above the horizon, but not at all high yet.
Before direct sunlight, photos may appear meager in color, low contrast, and possibly gloomy. And if I shoot later, then the higher the sun, the faster the fog evaporates under its warming rays.
Also, I just love this golden, sometimes slightly orange hue that the part of the landscape gets that is more lit by the sun. Especially in contrast with the cold bluish or lilac darker part.
Later, when the sun rises a little higher, wonderful long shadows appear from the trees. Everything becomes more real, but the fog that has not completely disappeared in the distance still makes the view a little magical. Such beauty!
