Did someone just say "Tell me about your first shoot?" Well I heard it then π So on that note, I'll be sharing my first ever shoot experience today.
Lockdown changed my life for better. A very unpopular opinion, but I have absolutely loved every bit of lockdown period and made the most of it. I cleared my Executive Level Exams, got into modelling, made some amazing friends, got back to painting, dancing and last but not the least, started my Macrame business. Talking about the shoot, it wouldn't have happened if @bighungrypanda hadn't pushed me to do it. He's been my constant cheerleader through it all. Sending you virtual hugs Ramsyyy! π«β€οΈ
He just happened to text me one day and tell me that he's scheduled a shoot in the next 3 days for me. And I was like WHAAAATT ??? I was dumb struck when I heard that. I tried giving reasons to escape this shoot because obviously I was not ready for it. But I knew he wouldn't let me go without doing this shoot π₯²
I finally made peace with the fact that it's happening and started looking for the right outfits and confirm with the photographers. While that was happening on one side, Ramesh kept telling me about the photographers and introduced me to their work.
I'm honestly mind blown with the younger generation. They're so creative, hardworking and passionate about what they do. And their work speaks for them. And through this shoot, I came across Ninaad Padmanabh and Vivek Shetty , the very first photographers who helped me step into this industry alongside @bighungrypanda who goes by Live_Matrix on Instagram. Yeah I had 3 photographers shoot me in my first shoot π I've linked all of their profiles above and would love for y'all to have a look at their work.
They were so patient and easy on me throughout the shoot. I made sure to inform them that it's my first time at photoshoot so they know what they could expect from me and it'd be a sin if I didn't mention @theartsydiva for being by my side during my first shoot and assisting me throughout. Besides having leg injury, she came to the shoot that day and stayed till the end. You have my heart bro β€οΈ

My heart aches as I write this, earlier this month we lost our gem, Ninaad Padmanabh in a bike accident on the 8th of April in the evening. If I may speak for everyone, we're still grieving his untimely demise and in denial that he's no more around us. It's still a hard pill to swallow that he's gone. He was a young, energetic, passionate and talented boy. This loss will forever be very personal to me.
Saying I'll forever be grateful for everything you've done would be an understatement. I'm glad we crossed paths in your lifes little journey. Your work will forever be immortal. I hope you're in a better place now. We love you, Ninaad. Rest easy dear friend β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈ
This was my little attempt at sharing your incredible work with a larger crowd, my friend. Your work will forever stay with us β€οΈβ¨
