As every year in a small town called Smederevo, my club where I play folklore holds a final concert. Every year we play all the folk Serbian games, and my favorite is the Vranje ensemble, and this folk dance is played every time at the end of the concert. This is the most demanding game, it requires teamwork and excellent organization.
This folk game consists of three parts. All three parts combined into one form an incredible whole. Everything looks harmonious, magical, and seems impossible.
- Vranjanka - this is the first part where only women play.
- Teškoto - only boys perform in this part
- Čoček (gypsies) - this is the part where we are all as one
This folk game is named after an interesting city in Serbia, this city is located in the south of Serbia and I would like to visit it. As I said, the name of this game is given after one city in Serbia, and that is Vranje. This heated temperament of the south is enriched by strong and grading musical-scenic contrasts and moods, various choreographic solutions, and colorful costumes with inevitable touches and tapas
our costumes are complicated but just as beautiful as the game we play. I always need help to put on this folk costume, because it consists of several parts that are very difficult to wear on my own. But in the end, when we all get dressed, everything looks amazing and this costume describes the cheerful spirit of the people who live in Vranje.
This round is left for the end because you know how it is said, the best remains for the end, and this round is spectacular and keeps people staying until the very end to see the main final.
