On Saturday, the Dragon Boat races took place in Přerov. It was attended by sports teams from Přerov and the nearby area; Kroměříž, Prostějov... The teams were school teams, company teams, but also simply fan teams. The races were held on the outskirts of the town, on a water area called Laguna.
Laguna is quite a popular place for weekend relaxation and walks. It is close to the river and the forest. However, the seventeen racing teams and their many fans created an amazing atmosphere for this sporting event. This time it was alive on Saturday at Laguna. In addition, the organizers also organized a special program for children, as the first of June is traditionally Children's Day.
I wasn't at the races until the end, so I don't know who won, but it's unimportant. The main thing is that everyone, competitors and spectators, enjoyed it enough. In the evening the races were rounded off with a cultural programme, there was a fire show and fireworks and the party went on into the night.
V sobotu se v Přerově konaly závody Dračích lodí. Účastnilo se ho sportovní týmy z Přerova a blízkého okolí; Kroměříž, Prostějov... Týmy to byly školní, podnikové, ale i jednoduše fandovské. Závody se konaly na okraji města, na vodní ploše zvané Laguna.
Laguna je poměrně vyhledávané místo pro víkendovou relaxaci a procházky. Je odtud blízko k řece i do lesa. Nicméně sedmnáct závodních týmů a množství jejich fanoušků vytvořilo pro tuto sportovní akci úžasnou atmosféru. Tentokrát to v sobotu na Laguně žilo. Pořadatelé navíc uspořádali i speciální program pro děti, protože první červen je tradičně Dětský den.
Nebyl jsem na závodech až do konce, tak nevím, kdo vlastně vyhrál, ale to není až tak důležité. Hlavní je, že si to všichni, závodníci i diváci, dostatečně užili. Večer byly závody završené kulturním programem, byla ohňová show i ohňostroj a párty pokračovala až do noci.
