DAY 2

It's morning, August 9, 2020. Grumbling blueberry pickers wake me up. The hill over there is Veterné, will be going through there shortly. I am still surprised I was not eaten by bears, as stayed overnight in their territory.
Still very hot weather, I am out of regular water, no any water source nearby. Yesterday, I managed to fill up this bottle. Today, I must drink it. Tastes good though!
At Veterné (1441 m.a.s.l.). Communications tower, located at Veľká Lúka (1475 m.a.s.l), on the left.
Moving on. Another peak, Horná lúka (1299 m.a.s.l.). Leaving preceding peaks behind. Look at those blueberries!
So sweet and delicious! No wonder local bears love them.
Now little detour through the beech forest, worth it.
Usypaná Skala (1158 m.a.s.l.). The ridge made up from steep slopes and scarps.
Must be careful as behind the grass, there is risk of free fall 😄
Better go back to the trail, passing by this sleeping little guy (green rose chafer). Hush!
Nice spot - great view, full-grown trees... How about to finally hang the hammock I could not use yesterday?
Fixed in ~7 minutes.
What a luck, tiny wild strawberries just beneath me :-)
Now last summit - Hnilická Kýčera (1217 m.a.s.l.). Just drank up the bottle with water. Still 10 kilometers to go.

The pointed mountain in the background, the highest one, that is Kľak (1352 m.a.s.l.). Next time I need to conquer it!

The water I filled up yesterday. Well, I won't beat about the bush. The trots. Actually quite urgent and heavy, after I have been drinking the water all day long. Luckily for me, I am in the forest, no one else around, and equipped with plenty of toilet paper.
Note: The tree stump overgrown with moss is not related to this event at all. I simply do not have any more suitable image to show :-)
One kilo lighter, I am marching considerably faster :-)

This is the final stop! Essential refreshment (cool local craft beer, ordered two at once as terribly thirsty) at the pub Rajecká piváreň, Rajec. Now happy 😇
