Guardians of the Orchard: Our Animal Family

Hello hive family. I hope you all are healthy.

My house is in the middle of a dense cedar forest. There is an apple orchard in front of the house. Although we are three people but our family is very big. Our family has one cow, one calf, two dogs, sixteen hens and one rooster. Today I will tell you about my family in which they have an important contribution in my family and apple orchards.

In the morning, Lalu, who is my rooster, wakes us up on time with his crowing. After some time after waking up in the morning, pigeons come to the roof of my house. This is also a part of our house but as soon as night falls, it disappears somewhere in these forests. In the morning we feed our chickens and cows outside in the sun and my two dogs also take good care of the gardens.

Cow is important for our fields. Cow dung helps in fertilizing the soil of the fields, which also saves our fertilizer expenses. We feed the weeds growing in the fields to the cows as fodder. We do not raise them, they raise us. From cow we get to eat pure things like milk, curd, ghee, butter. Which keeps our body healthy. It is necessary to have livestock in farming.

Chicken manure is also important for the soil. Of all animal manures, it has the highest concentration of nitrogen, phosphorus and potassium. Which is beneficial for apple trees. Their eggs are also more nutritious than those of poultry-farmed hens. We do completely natural farming.

My dogs guard the house and garden. My house is next to the forest, wild animals damage our crops and animals. The dogs do not allow them to come to the fields, they drive them away. I have become attached to them by living with them. I feel happy being with them.
