A few weeks ago my mother was taking care of her great-niece at home, as for me, I was having one of my adventures in the backyard looking for an insect to photograph, after taking some pictures, I went to where my mother was without any special reason, when my second niece of only 5 years old saw the camera she got excited, she really likes when they take pictures of her and she invents different poses that make her laugh, so I took some pictures of her and these are the ones I want to show you today.
Hace algunas semanas mi madre se encontraba cuidando a su sobrina-nieta en casa, por mi parte, yo me encontraba realizando una de mis aventuras en el patio de la casa en busca de algún insecto al cuál fotografiar, después de hacer algunas fotografías, fui a donde se encontraba mi madre sin ninguna razón en especial, cuando mi sobrina segunda de tan sólo 5 años vio la cámara se emocionó, realmente le gusta cuando le toman fotografías y se inventa diferentes poses que le hacen reír, por lo que le hice algunas fotografías y son las que les quiero mostrar el día de hoy.
Haeley (my second niece) is quite an enthusiastic child and I hope she can remain the same even as the years go by. The poses in the photographs were exclusively her idea, I let her do whatever she wanted, because it was just a fun moment for her, a moment that I thank life for immortalizing and I hope that in the future she will see these photographs and continue to see herself reflected in the little girl she is today.
You can see my mother in the background of one of the pictures and also another with Haeley, the affection they both have for each other is another thing I also wanted to immortalize.
Haeley (mi sobrina segunda) es una niña bastante entusiasta y espero que pueda seguir siendo la misma aún con el paso de los años. Las poses en las fotografías fueron exclusivamente idea de ella, dejé que hiciese lo que quisiera, porque era sólo un momento divertido para ella, momento que agradezco a la vida por inmortalizar y espero que en un futuro vea estas fotografías y se siga viendo reflejada en la niña que es el día de hoy.
Pueden ver a mi madre al fondo de una de las fotografías y también otra junto a Haeley, el cariño que se tienen ambas es otra de las cosas que también quería inmortalizar.
The innocence of children is one of the most beautiful things in the world, because their vision of life is nothing more than having fun even with the little things that when you grow up are quite simple, but the illusion that they generated in the past made them so amazing that we could enjoy for hours with just one thing and it is something that is reflected in these photographs, the happiness of a child with the innocence of life and that her world is reduced to fun, that is why one of the advices that many people usually give is that we should not forget our inner child no matter how many years go by and I honestly believe that they are right, it is not about behaving like a child, but to see life from the perspective of the world and try to see the good where there is none and never forget that life can be fun if you want it to be.

La inocencia de los niños es una de las cosas más lindas del mundo, porque su visión de la vida no es más que divertirse incluso con las pequeñas cosas que cuando uno crece resultan bastante sencillas, pero la ilusión que generaban en antaño las hacía tan sorprendentes que podíamos disfrutar por horas con una única cosa y es algo que se reflejan en estas fotografías, la felicidad de una niña con la inocencia de la vida y que su mundo se reduce a la diversión, por eso uno de los consejos que muchas personas suelen dar es que no debemos olvidar a nuestro niño interior por más que pasen los años y creo honestamente que tienen toda la razón, no se trata de comportarse como un niño, sino ver la vida desde la perspectiva del mundo e intentar ver lo bueno en aquello donde no lo hay y nunca olvidar que la vida puede ser divertida si así lo deseas.
