Failed lightning strike photo hunt

This time I want to share a story about hunting lightning photos. Tonight, I again failed to get the perfect picture. In the past few days, I've been hunting for lightning strike pictures.

Every afternoon I continue to monitor the weather forecast through the official website to find out when the lightning prediction will appear.

My hunting location this time is by the beach. As usual, before I leave for the location. I have prepared all the equipment to capture moments that we rarely get to capture with a camera.

I brought two tripods, one I use for my Canon M100 camera and the other I use for my cellphone camera.

Until I arrived at the location, I immediately took the right position to photograph this extraordinary phenomenon.

For the camera settings I use a shutterspeed of 30 "/sec F 5.6 and ISO 250-/400. While on a cellphone camera, I use a pro camera.

Well, from the tens of shoots. I only get a few frames. Even though the picture isn't perfect. I think I failed to get the picture again. And I have to take another chance.

One thing that makes me love the process of shooting lightning strikes. We can practice patience in this process. Like I did this. Just to get an image like this. It took me about 2 hours by the beach.

Nonetheless, I really enjoyed this process. And I'm sure, one day will definitely get the perfect one as I want. I won't give up until I get the best pictures.
