Birds Hunting

This week is coming to an end and the new week is about to start soon after. I hope everyone is well at such a time. Good luck to those who are not well. I always love to take photos of birds, and I did so this week. Finding birds takes a lot of time, but I enjoy doing it. Today I will share with you some of the beautiful photos I took throughout the week

This is an Oriental Maple Robin perched on a felled tree trunk. It is the national bird of our country. We see such structures when we pass by the road. As it is a national bird, its structure is built at the crossroads. It looks like the structure it sits on in the photo above. It is a very beautiful bird and very popular in our country.

The name of this bird is Javan Myna. Its favorite food is insects. Apart from this, food grains and fish are also eaten. It is abundant in our country. It lives in trees and descends for food. When I did photograph the bird it was perched on a tree.

The black drongo is a seasoned hunter, perched on the branch of a bamboo tree with a pond beneath it. Farmers cultivate fish in this pond. The bird sits there for fish food and when the fish comes to the top of the water it hunts it with its beak. I saw him do it myself. They usually prey on small fish

This is a cormorant perched on a dead bamboo. The bamboo is used by fishermen to catch fish. The main food of this bird is fish. It goes under water to catch fish and comes up with fish. When tired or cold they rest on these bamboos. It can go very deep in water

The Javan myna has gone to the field to eat insects. Now there are no crops in the field and a lot of grass has grown. Many types of insects grow under this grass. They are the favorite food of the bird. It was calling when I took its photo so its mouth is open

White Heron birds are in the field. They like to eat medium to small fish such as puffer fish. There are small ponds on the edge of the field where fish can be found. Fish is also available in farmer's land. They also like to eat insects. So they came here in the field

It is a Spotted Dove, coming to the farmer's house boundary to feed on grains. It has a beautiful spot on its neck. It is not domesticated but wild. They build nests in tall trees and live there

This is another species of oriental maple robin, slightly lighter in color. Taken while it was sitting on a farmer's tractor. It is a different species but our national bird so we all love it very much

Best regards
